SPY REPORT
Busy, busy, busy, lots of things happening in MORDANT this turn, and let's start
with a look at some of the teams. It seems the training can make the difference, as
BLACK MONASTARY is pushed out of top team by BLACK ARMADA, who came from 4th with a
4-1-1 this turn. Now keep the taverns open late tonight, for there are sorrows to
drown for BLACK JUNTA, whose 1-3-0 this turn dropped them by 6 into 9th. ARENA
FELINES stable has parlayed this turn's 3-1-0 into a 6 space move up the rankings.
This brings them up to 4th place. Good work, guys! The FANTASIA guild has had a
4-1-0 turn and deserves to be watched in the future. You never know where this kind
of thing can lead. And let's see, KRAZY KAT fought EDGEDANCER and gained 25 points
and contributed to ARENA FELINES' 3-1-0. EDGEDANCER has lost to KRAZY KAT, falling
16 points, while helping make BLACK JUNTA a 1-3-0 turn. And all eyes were on CRONUS
this turn as he ascended to the throne of Duelmaster. MORDANT has a new victor! Can
someone confirm a rumor for me? I hear the top team makes their losing fighters do
dishes at Conan's Place until they win. Maybe?
He who challenges well, fights well. He who avoids without cause, shall lose
for good reasons. My mama told me that one. Well, sports fans, take notice that
TEENY WEENY from FANTASIA was MORDANT's most challenged warrior this turn. I don't
know about you, but SPYWARE BEAR challenging down 33 points to 1792's PORT FINISH, is
not really worthy of CARE LESS BEARS. We're not surprised to hear that SPYWARE BEAR
bested PORT FINISH, but I bet it would be interesting to hear why CARE LESS BEARS
made such a challenge. Well now, what do you expect when someone like PIPSQUEAK from
FREAK BROTHERS challenges down 16 points to fight MARCUS MARTULUS of LEGIONARII? I
thought challenges were for warriors, not cowards looking for easy wins. PIPSQUEAK
overcame MARCUS MARTULUS, is nothing sacred? In a brave attempt, LAP LOVER from
ARENA FELINES challenged up 25 points to fight THE CAT BOX from the FREAK BROTHERS
stable. LAP LOVER perhaps got hers just desserts, seeing as she was overcame by THE
CAT BOX and ended up with 41 recognition points.
The Dark Arena is for those who cannot win, not who cannot lose with grace.
Dignity in life or death is the warrior's creed. Is it really true that MORDANT has
more dishwashers per capita that fighters? Just thought I'd ask...
I like this place, MORDANT, the taverns have old wine, and young serving girls.
Who could ask for more? Always good to rest in MORDANT, but never good to wear out
my welcome. Look for me in future turns. Until the sun next rises and my pen sets
to paper-- Alarond the Scribe
