guildhouse after a 1-4-0 showing this week which dropped the stable into 12th. Dark
Arena anyone? Warriors--remember that glory waits always around the corner! Witness
how this week HARLEQUINS went 3-2-0 to move up 4 in the rankings. PLUMBER caught the
eye of many in the gladiatorial commission as he skillfully bested PERSISTENT BEGGAR
and was awarded 15 points in recognition. In one of the week's more notable duels,
ASKELON put down HITMAN, causing her to lose 10 points of recognition in the process.
Not for nothing has THE PERSIAN in the past laid claim to the Duelmaster's throne,
and this week he's proven his combat skill yet again. Would you believe that over
half of the old women in NIANIA seem to feel that they could fight better than you
gladiators?
Many and various are the arts of battle. In NIANIA "art" is a word that has
long since passed from the language! My inside sources tell me that the team to beat
in NIANIA these days is YELLOWSTONE YOGIS. At least, most blades in town are looking
to avoid them. If you didn't look down dark alleys you'd have been hard pressed to
find any of DEEP ELVES last week. Busy avoiding YELLOWSTONE YOGIS? Mighty fighters
cannot but expect competition from those below. TALL COTTON take warning! You have
more than a few enemies in NIANIA. For some warriors honor is not important--only
empty victory. See, gladiators, how GOSOSOSOS of RESURRECTION challenged down 17
points to NILOETH. Surprising everyone, NILOETH beat GOSOSOSOS, earning 16 points of
recognition in the process! A knave's just desserts are the sweetest victory. A
match that raised a few eyebrows at the games this week, it seems that CHYLEYA posted
a challenge against the more highly recognized TALL COTTON. The results, you ask?
Well, the firebrand CHYLEYA was subdued by TALL COTTON. Remember warriors, this is
the discipline of steel.
