DUELMASTER'S COLUMN
Notes from the arena champ.
Greetings, Kaltos. The Raptor has ascended to the throne. Not that there are many here
to bear witness, but it shall be recorded for posterity. Yet another in the long line
of Black Bulldog Duelmasters.
Another five arena awards last turn, so The Commission is footing our bill once again.
One advantage of our small arena size. It also helps that Ninety-Three has taken it on
the chin these last turns. (Yeah, we had something to do with that.) Trying to pull
them back to the crowd. And, Morava either is scared of our Bloodfeud, or is tourney
timing. (I suspect the latter.) I guess hiding under a rock is one way to avoid a
Bloodfeud.
Until next time, Kaltos, may the gods guide your blows straight and true!

SPY REPORT
Well, what are you looking at, KALTOS? Ain't you never seen Snide Clemens
before? Ah, shaddup and listen to my news. Of course, we're all terribly impressed
to see PARTA LYNESIA win a fight and gain 13 points, terribly. Tsk, tsk, MORDRAK
beat LANTENAC and LANTENAC lost 8 points. You're breakin' my heart. And if variety
is the spice of life, KALTOS may be getting bland, as BLACK RAPTOR stays top dog in
the city. The Victory Tavern, humph! I've tasted better ale at mortuaries. Where
do they get this stuff? From KALTOS' trash dumps?
He who fights and runs away will live to fight another day, the coward. KALTOS,
I am losing what little hope I had in you. BLACK BULLDOGS the most avoided team?
What insult will suffice, I cannot say. And who led the way in this mass act of
cowardice? Let's see, well, whatcha know? It was NINETY-THREE. Ha ha ha ha! Ooh,
I'm frightfully impressed, LANTENAC was this turn's most challenged warrior. Watch
that ego swell, sports fans.
Some people like volunteer work in the hospitals. I volunteer for KALTOS'
morgue. More variety. I could say I saw this coming, but so could anyone else.
Anyway, this turn it came. TELLMARCH's 6-5-0 has earned him the Dark Arena. Gee,
NINETY-THREE, ain't it past due for sending CIMMOURDAIN Dark Arena? What took ol'
'7-4-0' so long? Hope? Ha ha aha ha! We're all going to die in the end, so why
worry if the fate catches up with you sooner that later?
What does the KALTOS arena have in common with the inns? It's just as
comfortable to sleep in either place. Ha ha ha ha! Phlllt! Just had to do that
before I leave the fine city of KALTOS. I feel much better now. I see the crowds
are getting restless, I must leave now-- Snide Clemens
