Notes from the arena champ.
Well, thank you, Warwick! I don't think I could have beaten a warrior with such a
distinguished resume' as you have, so I appreciate you taking a break and making an
opportunity for me. We'll see how long I can remain. I thought I would garner the
attention of the Lady Greywand by now, but such is not the case. I have an idea what
she is looking for: I have the requisite wins, the necessary FE, the needed political
points, and the ratings. Well, maybe not the ratings. Apparently she wants to see them
in specific skill areas. I guess there's a little more learning to do.
Nice turn, Eagles Dare! Took top team by one measly fight, but you did it. We
Scrappers still managed to garner five arena awards to earn a free turn next cycle,
thanks to me, of course. We're still partying like it's 1999!

Welcome ALJAFIR. I, Olaf Modeen remember this place well. Many the fights have
I fought here. The celebrations, the disappointments... Woof! WHEN EAGLES DARE
were a bunch of dogs after NEON SCRAPPERS got through with 'em! 2nd ain't so sweet
as 1st! Hmmmph! I always thought TROLLS was an over-rated team and they proved it
with a 1-4-0! Ya gotta be quick on yer feet! Keep your elbow off the table!
Thrust! Block out the pain! MIDDLE WAY is now ranked 5th with a 1-1-0 turn. It
seems so recently people were saying NEON SCRAPPERS was washed up, finished. But
4-1-0 moved them up 1. I guess they're washed no more... What's with NEIL AND? He
actually beat ALJAFIR's PERSISTENT BEGGAR, and walked away with 16 more points from
the fight. Try as he might, COMO wasn't good enough at persuading MR PYTHON to step
down from the Duelmaster's throne... Advice to fighters with a 1 will--give up
fighting!
Speaking of cowardly avoiders and unfair challenges... ALJAFIR thinks TROLLS
and their 37-54-2 is too much! If at first you don't succeed, give up... The bums
at THE SHOWOFFS couldn't face the challenges from TROLLS! No excuse for that! What
do people see in RALF TANNER? His 2-6-0? MIDDLE WAY ain't talkin', but he's got 16
points. I hate going to the effort of writing about the kind of fights that GRIMWAVE
gets in. He fights people like CASTLE KEEP, 14 points below. I thought GRIMWAVE
showed great skill and promise when he subdued CASTLE KEEP. All right, so I slept
through it! Big deal!
Warriors of ALJAFIR unite. You have only your games to lose! Here's some
advice: study your opponent, master many skills, fight dirty.
Well, I'm pretty much through. You guys need to get back practicing. ALJAFIR
