Notes from the arena champ.
Garion breathed heavily, grunting as he pulled the thick plate greaves from his arms
and dropped them into the sands. He didn't like this new armor, too thick, too heavy,
but it did what his manager Tripwire said it would. It took all the blows from the
longsword of Parmesan Cheese without doing much damage and tired the other warrior
quickly while Garion dodged the best he could in this bulky stuff and then unleashed
his Long Spear in the second minute. Worked to perfection actually. Glancing over at
his manager with a new found respect he looked at his next two opponents in challenger
champions. He saw his two guild mates there and shuddered thinking of fighting either
one of them, thank god they were on his team. So it would be Phouka and Cosmic Giant
next up in line.
SPY REPORT
I was going on vacation, see? Surf, sun... But what do those bums say? "Hit
the road, Debby Tonte. TALCAMA needs a spyreport." Oh, well. I don't wanna hurt
anybody's feelings or anything, but MAD SCIENTISTS really goofed with their 0-5-0.
OF WOLF AND MAN II like really fought hard to move up to 3rd from 8th. Way to go!
MVP award for HARRY TRUMAN? INANIMATE TOFU's proud of him after beating COSMIC ASH
and getting 22 points. Talk about yer major upsets! COSMIC ASH's match with HARRY
TRUMAN cost him a loss of 18 points! This Duelmaster is like something else! GARION
stopped PARMESEAN CHEESE dead in his tracks! I hear the top team insists all their
warriors get nine hours sleep. They want photogenic fighters for PR photos.
Look, you guys stick to fighting, all right? Like, is COSMIC GIANT popular, or
what? He was challenged the most in all of TALCAMA! He's got a 22-28-1, is that
good?
What does a fighter fight for? I mean, the crowds don't give a hoot if someone
gets killed. Not after four more fights. Fight, fight, fight. Is that all you guys
can do?
Remember, blood on a purple robe may stain. Soak it in cold water, and hand
wash. I know how much you like reading this stuff, but I really should stop.
