DUELMASTER'S COLUMN
Notes from the arena champ.
While Mister may have been surprised at his graduation last turn, this turn, I am even
more surprised to find myself on the Duelmaster's throne. Seems people were REALLY
distracted by the recent tournament, so distracted they forgot to send their warriors
for their regular fights. I mean, you know an arena is small when they don't even have
enough warriors to fill out the Most Popular list.
Speaking of the tournament, we sent one newbie to the tourney. Unfortunately, he came
back in a pine box, so we are once again actively recruiting. We'll see what kind of
tree we can harvest for future wins.

SPY REPORT
It is I, Novgorodny Vir, Spymaster of Spymasters. Look on my work, ye mighty,
and despair! Practice pays for BOLD BLIGHT, who pummelled MUSK, to pocket 19 points.
Win some, lose some. Speaking of which, BOLD BLIGHT was winsome, after beating MUSK
and seeing him lose 15 points. What can be a greater victory? KNIGHT has taken his
place as the top, as SOLVEN's new Duelmaster. Word has it one team in SOLVEN is
taking speech lessons to try to bore their opponent to death. I'll bet it works.
A Zenmaster once told me, 'Does not the spinning wheel turn? And do not the
little birds cry out?' Any ideas?
The moving sword slashes, and having slashed, moves on... Questions are being
raised about the disposing of severed body parts in the arena. A certain tavern in
SOLVEN would I avoid!
