SPY REPORT
Much has changed in CALEAM since last I was here. Never fear, Olaf Modeen
adapts to many situations, as do all successful fighters. What's with JERRY? He
actually beat FAR TRAVELERS' VIRAGO, and walked away with 31 more points from the
fight. Laughs were big at ROOFERS while they watched JERRY clobber VIRAGO. She lost
18 points and got bruised from objects thrown from the stands. Apparently CALEAM
isn't filled with as many gutless wonders as I thought. The Dreaded Duelmaster got 2
challenges this turn! BULLET '25's hatred of SAXON surfaced again as BARREL STRENGTH
challenged CALEAM's top dog. Try as it might, BARREL STRENGTH wasn't good enough at
persuading THE WORKING MAN to step down from the Duelmaster's throne... Wouldn't it
be nice to have live subjects to practice on? I hear some team is looking into the
uses of convicted prisoners.
No matter the time or place, men will always duel. The most avoided team was
FAR TRAVELERS. The bums at BULLET '25 couldn't face the challenges from FAR
TRAVELERS! No excuse for that!
A fighter's lot is filled with strife, revenge, and killing. Some fighters
don't accept this. The best do. Is it my imagination, or are fighters getting
younger every day? To die so young, so gloriously!
Many other cities have retirement homes for aged warriors. Any plans here?
CALEAM is a nice place to live, but I don't like to live in nice places. I don't
want to overstay my welcome...-- Olaf Modeen
