Notes from the arena champ.
Well, maybe this plethora of Challenger Champions actually IS afraid to challenge me?
I actually got my own challenge last cycle, so I figure the challenges headed my way
must have been minimal. There's a lot of experience in that class right now. Is anyone
going to step up?
It is kind of strange to be fighting in an arena where the Challenger Champions is the
largest class. Does that mean that they don't want to fight in tourneys? I, myself, do
have a bit of tourney experience, but a 13-15-1 record is not exactly illustrious. I
can understand how a lot of you guys don't want to bring your 22-35 record, or your
22-27 record, to a tournament. That kind of performance doesn't bode well for tourney
success. My own manager, the Neon Necromancer, is still debating what to do with me. I
have a few fights to go as a Champions class tourney warrior. But will he let me loose
on that tourney? I feel the odds are good since he just TCd that tourney with another
Striker that came out of nowhere. Here's hoping.

Hail Lapurian arena fans! Sorry for my absence the past month and thanks to Novgorodny
and Snide for covering for me.
Well jeeez, I miss a month and Smooth Operator has taken over the arena by keeping his
undefeated record and holding the title for the last two cycles. Congrats Neon and
your Smooth Operator. Will he make it 3 times and stay undefeated? Let's find out.
But first, today we honor the city's 8th Lord Protector of the year, STANDFAST of
Cardow Hunters, a warrior who has earned a legendary place in the history of the Lapur
arena. He just broke the record for the most fights to receive his invite with 72 and
breaking the old record of 60 held by a member of his guild from nearly 10 years ago.
Also, his 4 kills ranks him in the top 15 of the most deadly Lapurian warriors of all
time. Congrats to his manager Jorja and farewell to Standfast, you have earned your
status as a Lord Protector like no other.
Let me see here, 15 teams in the rankings, with TOURIST TRAPS returning from the
shadows. Welcome back. Four guilds took the week off, giving us 22 fights on the
lists, of which one was at night, eight challenge fights and that leaves 13 random
match-ups. First off, the dead has Visionist sacrificing another roll up god. The
fight for the throne is a challenge fight with 2-time defending champ SMOOTH OPERATOR
of NEON VELVET challenging STANDFAST of CARDOW HUNTERS, with Neon's undefeated
freakish warrior demolishing Jorja's exiting Lord Protector in a 1 minute one-sided
Title melee. All Hail the 3-time Duelmaster!
Team News Alert! Holding onto the top spot is Destitute Noble and his Arcane Pharmacy
heroes after a 4-1-0 result. Jumping from 4th to 2nd is Visionist and his Mid Earth
crew after a 3-2-0 showing. Rising from 6th to 3rd is Master Beru and his Army of
Darkness after a 2-3-0. Really? Arcane Pharmacy also nailed down the Team on the Move
after gaining 40 points in recognition. The Most Avoided Team goes to the Bloke and
his AVOID ME! propogandist, who received 10 avoids. I can't prove it, but I really am
thinking the Bloke is paying off guilds to avoid them.

Destitute Noble's dignified warrior cleansed Master Beru's fossilized warrior in a 1
minute one-sided contest.

Beru's dubbed warrior luckily besting Nameless Cat's restless warrior in a 4 minute
master's match.
LOTS OF KNOTS of ALMOST EXACTLY challenged POISON IVY of AVOID ME! with Vlad's tangled
warrior withstanding the Bloke's irritating warrior in a 2 minute veteran's struggle.
ERRATIC EDUCATOR of ARMY OF DARKNESS challenged DROP THE SOAP of ALMOST EXACTLY, with
Master Beru's eccentric warrior yielding to Vlad's slippery warrior in a 1 minute
struggle.
SUE CHEF of ARMY OF DARKNESS challenged LARRY of NEON VELVET, with Master Beru's
culinary warrior dressing down Neon Necromancer's honorable warrior in a 2 minute
duel.
APOSTATE POSTMAN of ARMY OF DARKNESS challenged FLOYDTYKTU of ARCANE PHARMACY, with,
Master Beru's postal warrior being thwarted by Destitute Noble's enhanced warrior in a
1 minute one-sided contest.
ACID of AVOID ME! challenged BARON ASTEPRO of ARCANE PHARMACY, with the Bloke's
