SPY REPORT
Like the magnificent Sun, rising upon the Dawn and exiling the Night for a Day,
I, Novgorodny Vir, return once again! Practice pays for ABE B. DONN, who pummelled
SEVENTH SEAL, to pocket 17 points. Win some, lose some. Speaking of which, MR.
TOPHER LEES was winsome, after beating KALI and seeing her lose 14 points. CALAMITY
successfully staved off a grab for the roses by HURLY BURLY of BLACK MOON RISING.
Does ARVAT have no one talented enough to dethrone her? So who's the team that's
been walking into taverns last week and ordering milk? Sounds like a PR stunt to me.
And how sociable are ARVAT's warriors? Come, let us see. Perhaps the warriors
of BLACK MOON RISING should take up some hobbies, as they are the most avoided
team... The warriors of BLACK MOON RISING found their efforts at combat frustrated
as DEVIL ADVOCATES apparently had more important things to do than fight. If
challenges were horses, BUTTERFLY EFFECT could open up a fast food joint! Do my ears
deceive me? SAI OPS (outclassed by 27 points) challenged BUTTERFLY EFFECT, in what
promises to be a fight.(!) BUTTERFLY EFFECT had a quite go of it, putting SAI OPS in
hers place. Them's the breaks, GAINS OF FUNCTION. Expecting fair challenges from
BLACK MOON RISING is evidently too much to ask. MALIGN MISERY killed GAINS OF
FUNCTION with a point difference of 17. So this is what ARVAT calls a duel. This
will make an interesting tale. NIJA challenged EMBERGLOW! Who says HELL'S HEROES
are just a bunch of wimps! NIJA of HELL'S HEROES kept his wits as he was defeated by
EMBERGLOW.
Like the wind whispering among the pines, do hearest I many disquieting rumors.
Congratulations, ABE B. DONN. The manager of APOCALYPSE should have sent SEVENTH
SEAL to the Dark Arena for having a 13-17-0 long ago. Ask not for whom the sword
slashes; it slashes for thee.
All good things must come to an end. As the seasons change, and the creatures
of the wild change also, so do I feel a yearning to leave this place. ARVAT, I leave
you now. The Duelmaster has agreed to foot my bill at The Welcome Wench. 'Til next
time-- Novgorodny Vir
