Notes from the arena champ.
Oh, it's true. I am Duelmaster. Gutshot may have "put it to me", but I rose to the
throne on recognition. I am certainly not declining this Title. After all I've done to
get here ......... 40 arena fights with 28 wins. You bet. 7-6 in tournament fights.
Extra emphasis! four fights for the title. A worthy statistic! (OK, so I lost all four
-- Spastic Cantalope PR, Suicide King PS, Pair Royale AB, Gutshot LU.)
I wish I could say I will be elevated to Lord Protector soon, but who knows what The
Commission will do, or how many bribes they have taken against my favor. No matter, I
shall carry on.

I can't believe the violence in ARDIVENT! I still haven't told Mom I'm writing
Spyreports. She'd have a cow! Well, here we go... MVP award for BUSTER? PUPPY
SQUAD's proud of him after beating TRUSTWORTHY SCRIBE and getting 16 points. Talk
about yer major upsets! BLUFF's match with POLLY cost him a loss of 1 points! And I
was just getting used to the ex-Duelmaster's habit of...(!) Oh well, welcome SUICIDE
KING. Aren't WILD CARDS proud. (Oh, my.) Who was the wiseguy that said ARDIVENT's
Duelmaster was paying for drinks at The Seaside Manor? Don't look at me!
Look, you guys stick to fighting, all right? The warriors of FANDILS must be
getting lonely. They were the most avoided team. Do you guys know something that I
don't? I don't know what DANGEROUS FRUITS' been doing. They certainly haven't been
accepting many fights from FANDILS, that's fer sher. Like, is OVERREACHING ACAI
popular, or what? He was challenged the most in all of ARDIVENT! He's got a
18-16-0, is that good?
