Notes from the arena champ.
Amen-Tei, spring has arrived. Everywhere, vibrant colors and the scent of jasmine,
carried by the breeze, soothe the torments and uplift the spirits. On the highest of
branches, I am but a cherry blossom.

SPY REPORT
Much has changed in AMEN-TEI since last I was here. Never fear, Olaf Modeen
adapts to many situations, as do all successful fighters. Hmmmph! I always thought
THE RAVAGERS was an over-rated team and they proved it with a 0-0-0! Up 'n down. Up
'n down. Rankings always change. Up 'n down. I think I'm gonna be... Well,
WAYFARERS' 3rd moved them up to 2-0-0 place. Another fighter (CHARYBDIS 13-7-1)
challenged another Duelmaster (JIN YOUNG KO 17-17-1). Life goes on. CHARYBDIS was
reminded on the sands why JIN YOUNG KO is Duelmaster. Wouldn't it be nice to have
live subjects to practice on? I hear some team is looking into the uses of convicted
prisoners.
Speaking of cowardly avoiders and unfair challenges... The most avoided team
was ULFHEDNAR. In my day, no team with a 62-59-3 would scare me off! What's the
problem, NEON ODYSSEY? How well I know the feeling of being the most challenged
warrior, THE ANGRY MEATBALL! Don't make idle boasts, they may come back to haunt
you. POLYPHEMUS of NEON ODYSSEY knows how to pick 'em. He challenged IN GEE CHUN of
THE SAND TRAP who is up by 22. Now was this a wise move? POLYPHEMUS perhaps got his
just desserts, seeing as he subdued IN GEE CHUN and ended up with 89 recognition
points.
There have been some calls to lengthen the time limit. Do you want the fighters
to walk away, or not? Is it my imagination, or are fighters getting younger every
day? To die so young, so gloriously!
Who knows what the future holds for a warrior. More fights, there's no doubt.
The end of another Spyreport! That's cause for celebration in my book! Time for my
