As I am ascending the throne, it is already time to leave the city. Farewell Amen-Tei.
I will miss the scent of jasmine. But my heart lightens at the thought of seeing Amy

Hail and well met warriors of AMEN-TEI! Know me for who I am, Zontani Sharp
Eyes, Spymaster extraordinaire of all Alastari. Former top team CHAOS KIDS was
unseated this week as THE SAND TRAP moved up from 2nd ranking to take the top spot
with a 3-2-0 record for the round. There were bitter words at NEON ODYSSEY's
guildhouse after a 1-0-0 showing this week which dropped the stable into 12th. Dark
Arena anyone? Warriors--remember that glory waits always around the corner! Witness
how this week OLD WOMEN went 5-0-1 to move up 7 in the rankings. SYLVIA caught the
eye of many in the gladiatorial commission as she skillfully bested TRUSTWORTHY
SCRIBE and was awarded 20 points in recognition. In one of the week's more notable
duels, TRASH put down WOLFSBANE, causing it to lose 13 points of recognition in the
process. Unwilling to wait upon the will of others, Duelmaster LYDIA KO challenged
PETER RABBIT last week in a match to decide the fate of the throne. Although PETER
RABBIT made a valiant effort, it did not suffice to topple the reign of victorious
LYDIA KO. No confirmation, but my sources claim that the top team has gained their
position using magical aids. Charmed weapons perhaps?
Many and various are the arts of battle. In AMEN-TEI "art" is a word that has
long since passed from the language! My inside sources tell me that the team to beat
in AMEN-TEI these days is ULFHEDNAR. At least, most blades in town are looking to
avoid them. If you didn't look down dark alleys you'd have been hard pressed to find
any of SAFE HAVEN last week. Busy avoiding ULFHEDNAR? Mighty fighters cannot but
expect competition from those below. BRIER THORN take warning! You have more than a
few enemies in AMEN-TEI.
What warrior does not hone his years, impatiently waiting for the moment of his
foe's mortality? Fate is a fickle mistress. She showers the miserable with fortune
but sets enemies against the victorious. Remember this!
The girls are as pretty in AMEN-TEI as ever I remembered them....and the
fighters as ugly! Don't let your reputation slip! Sadly warriors, now longer can I
keep thy company nor savor the ale of thy fine city. Depart I must and soon! Till
