2-3 for me with nothing exciting happening. I did notice that none of my challenges went through this time, so I'm curious if my stuff made it to RSI in time. I did manage to win my last fight with Chaucer, graduating him at 21-21-1. At one point he was 12-18-1, so that comes as no less than a small miracle to me. I went 2-0 against Kellumbo this turn, so Dragonbane Guild and La Pentarchie can send me my payment in gold or silver for contributing to their overtaking him in the team standings (though DK did waste me pretty good in 45, but that is another story).
The gold has been sent
Well, if you want to get literal about my ethics, it means you're bluffing. I guess you have to be in 81 to get that.

I'm now at a crossroads. As Ikillu can attest, the only other time I said I was going to take a break to wait out an entire BF, I wasn't being completely honest, which coincidentally is Slaughter Mouse's only loss. I thought it was kind of a fun bluff even if it didn't help my record. Since nobody said a word, I thought I would do it again, assuming some of the more historically minded managers would have called out the last time I made the faulty claim to disapper for four turns and said, 'yeah, right.' However, everybody jumped on it this time, even people not in the arena, and it's opened a hot button topic that I haven't seen before (and I thought I had seen them all).
The crossroad is now I'm on the fence between running and not running since you've all made the latter sound like more fun in terms of being an arena "bad guy" for the first time (not to mention a bullseye). If I become Shadowspire's outcast team do I also get to down challenge too? I don't think I've ever tried it, but it could be a nice perk and I could pad my record with some easy wins for once. Let me know what you think since I know you are all reading this thread.

I really think everyone in arena 20 should back Swinetiger's ethics and all sit out for the next 6 turn just to show everyone what bad asses we are.
Now THAT's what I call a supportive gesture! Count us in!

Irony Alert!
Just prior to and throughout the course of this thread, I did have a serious health condition (SSHL) that took me to the ER, put me on a drug all week (that even the pharmacist exclaimed,
"wow, you must have something serious."),
and required a slew of doctor's appointments with more today. As a result, I forgot to send my turn in and don't want to run my team on maintenance (especially with this heat), nor do I have the time/patience to call in strats for my whole team. See you all in two turns.
ST
Good luck with the real-life stuff. Hang in there, Guy.

Going against my better judgement given some of my strats last turn, I had them run my team on maintenance. I wasn't able to get my new RU sent in, but I might be able to hit the fax machine before they process the turn today.

I'm with ya. I faxed in my turn last night along with my new RU and a note to Sandy saying it was in the mail. I only have a 50/50 shot at my new guy running this turn, so it may be only a 4 man squad for me this turn too.

Well, this turn I'll be relying on set strats - and will be running 4. #5 hasn't had numbers applied yet.

Yeah, you wanted to milk this as much as you can.

Well, for all the ribbing that I have been giving you, I do want to say that I'm sorry about your situation. I had to look up SSHL and I will say that you are in my family's thoughts and prayers.
Thanks! Since my health and my posts are not connected (although I wish they were in this instance), ribbing should continue as planned.

Ok, I almost want to put in a LOL! at the irony of this, but given the reason it doesn't seem appropriate.

Cowardly ducking aside, here's hopin' all your health issues are resolved for the better. Good luck and get back in the game (In all senses) quickly!

Isn't it fun to see what we all can get "excited" about? It has been such fun reading this thread!
As to your new name, former Swinetiger, don't you think
SWINESKUNK
is more in order?
