I'd be more then happy to kill off one or two of your cast offs, but my team is having some serious will to win issues. I guess that darn Drunken Flailer is a bad influence.
I keep telling these guys "you can only do so many keg stands and be clear headed in the morning", and then there he goes showing off. Shotguns, kegstands, funnels and few extra guzzlers for kicks and he goes out and wins, while the others go stumbling around the sands and take a beat down like sissy little girls.

They have potential but the juice is getting the better of them.
Speaking of juice I think I need a little after reading the newsletter.

Or if someone killed one of my warriors and I bf'd them. If someone wants to kill Maulicious or I See Dead People, I'd be more than happy to BF with Maularia.

I got my turns today. The no-weapons match didn't happen, but I'm starting to think that the warrior below me needs to be in a higher bracket to challenge the DM (it's one of the weird aspects of starting a new arena in a closed one). Needless to say, it's not really a spoiler to announce that I'm still the Bashmasher.

I think you might be right.

I've been in a contest or two that started in newly reopened arenas with fresh teams and the Duelmaster never fought anyone until the opponent was a Challenger Champion, that I can remember. The only way for the throne to change hands is if you get swatted down to a lower recognition than someone by a stand-in.

Don't put words in my mouth - I never paid him that compliment. If you want hugs, go to Shadowspire.

And what makes Drunken Flailer so inadequete? That boy can put down a keg of ale and still be able to swing...heck he has a .500 record and that's with an enlarged liver. Just has a problem staying off the drink.....he tells me it numbs the pain of the blows.

Seriously, I have no idea if I sent in strategies or not.

It is entirely possible that I never sent in a strategy for my guy, that he may just run on maintenance. That's the problem with me and slow arenas. By the time the next turn comes around, its been so long I don't remember anything.

If we fail to meet up open handed this turn, I will try to try again next turn.

Nothing to post yet, but wanted to get the thread started. I'm excited to see the outcome of the pugilist match for the throne. Any newcomers this turn?

Also, if you're in this arena for the long maul, er haul, don't forget to take advantage of the tourneys to get some experience. If Trolldozer can TV and he's not one of my top 2 bashers here, anyone can. Well, maybe not Drunken Flailer.
