Okay; I'll get the ball rolling this turn.
First, I hope that everyone had a safe and happy Christmas! And yes, I hope and wish for a safe New Year's for everyone! It's been a tough time for me this year; I've heard similar things from others here. Whatever your preferences, I lift up a prayer for everyone. (Take that as you will.)
Second, I want to emphasize how much I genuinely appreciate everyone's help -- every time I've asked for assistance or opinions, I've gotten them. The caliber of people who play DM (regardless of what the personals might imply) is definitely higher than what I seem to come across on an average day. Small wonder I love this outlet, this retreat, this game!
Third -- the actual turn: Clan Longbeard, Some Kinda Hate, and Otto's Diner missed this turn. Christmas time and all, I expected a few teams to miss. (As for me, I missed a couple of turns back and now I almost didn't get my Christmas turn in on time!) So these 'vacationing' teams did throw off my challenges and avoids, since many of their fighters are within my... spectrum? But these things happen to everyone, so no hurt feelings. Any anyway, if my guys were all that good it shouldn't make too much of a difference, right?
So, Search the Sky is 2-3-0 this turn. If we can crank out a 3-2 next turn I might even take "Current Top Team"; it's been a very long time since that has been a possibility! I'm excited about that.
This time there were no deaths other than a few D.A. fights; there is no statistical proof of hostilities rising, but the personal ads make me a bit nervous. Just a bit. Looking forward to what the next turn reveals!

Indeed this has been a challenging year. But a new one is almost here and I hope to see my involvement in the arena return to the level it was at the first couple of years in Shadowspire. So hopefully ads shall be forthcoming. And no more turns on maintenance like this last one. Cost me the throne.
2-3 for th Guild. Not good. Coulda been worse.
