Great news: We've moved downstairs to part of the ballroom, so we'll have lots of room!
Please -- If you think you're going to come to the FTF in January, book your room NOW! I know it's early, and I wouldn't normally ask, but with the Superbowl being in Phoenix next year, AND the Marathon on the same weekend and the auto auction and Phoenix Open and everything else, I'm really worried that the hotel is going to book up. I've made my best guess for the number of rooms we need on each night, and right now, I can add rooms to the block if we need more. But it won't be long before the hotel is full and we won't be able to add.
As always, if you have any difficulty making your room reservations, let me know. If they say the room rate isn't available, make a reservation at whatever rate you can get (that way you know you have a room) -- then immediately send me your confirmation # and I'll get them to correct the rate.
Arizona's beautiful in January--our room rates are good for three days before and after the FTF so you can go see Sedona or the Grand Canyon if you wish. Or golf.
It was great to see everybody in July and we look forward to seeing you again in January--as well as those of you we missed this summer!

I made reservations today without a problem. No mention of the number of rooms left in the block. Even so, I would make your reservations ASAP.

Tried to book a room today, they said they can't process the reservation and actually told me to call Lee.
ETA: Called back and got a different agent, who booked it for me.
P.S. If anyone needs a roommate for Thu-Mon, PM me.

Booked online with the RSI promo code. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

If I can swing it I would very much be interested in rooming with someone to cut down on the room cost. If anyone is shopping for a roomate please let me know here, or even leave me a message to Hollowshade in the Chatzy room.
One request, no snoring please if possible!

I just booked my room for Fri & Sat, with both nights paid for entirely by Hilton Honors Points! That's about 4 years worth of saving them up (60,000 points), both the Tempe trips and some for work. Now, I wonder how many frequent flier miles I have? Hmmm....
Some pointers for those who want to use points;
1) Don't ignore those e-mails, be sure to sign up for triple and quadruple points whenever they're offered (I had 5 nights at 4x points for a work trip once).
2) Don't use Expedia or Priceline or any of those services to book your room, because you won't get Honors Points if you do that.
3) Hilton won't let you use Honors points toward your purchase if you're part of a convention block (such as RSI's FtF), so you simply don't tell them when you make the reservation. The only perk you won't get is the free Internet, but I'm pretty sure there'll be a code available to use.

Hollowshade has reported receiving a paper announcement in today's mail.
The prize for Tempe 2015 is three potions of max bonus. "Three potions which increase a warrior's base rating in one skill area to the maximum that could have been rolled up for him."
Carry on.

Ok, who's getting in Thursday? I land 4:54 PM Thursday, probably at the hotel by 6.

What?! Are we seeing a mix of "unfriendly" alliances in that car?
Will look forward to seeing y'all Thur aft/eve.
