Here's an important tip, kiddies. NEVER hand off an envelope, fully addressed and stamped, to be mailed in by a friend, spouse, or ANYONE else!! You know what happens? No? Hhhhmmmm??
They 'forget'. Yes, even loved ones. It's not that important for them to remember, and eventually they'll mail it, so it's not that big a deal, right? RRRRIIIIGGGHHHHTTTT!!!
So remember: YOU mail it in. Push that envelope through the slot and wait around the corner for the mailman. Make for SURE he places it in the correct box and gets it to the post office in an expeditious manner. (Sure, some call it 'stalking', but I'm talking 'benevolent supervision' here.)
These sort of things always seem to happen to me. (Particularly true when I get a couple of free fights that turn, incidentally)
And Degotti -- I always challenge up within a given range. Your guys (and others) get my challenges when they meet my criteria: a fighter has no more than twice as much FE as mine, and has as many recognition points (preferably more) than mine.
Now, this next turn (211) I may be proven a liar, as I had two challenges for each fighter and now everyone has moved around a bit. But this sort of 'blind' challenge is the exception rather than the rule. I really do try to always challenge up and challenge different folks every time.
Maybe you just don't like losing to my guys all the time? (And weren't at least one or two of these encounters RANDOM?)

The old "rely on your significant other to mail it" lesson....yep, NEVER do it! Bills, mortgage payments, whatever, that's cool, but IMPORTANT stuff....that's DIFFERENT!!!

Another awful 0-5 for the Diner (albeit with two DAs). We're finally taking steps to get the team turned around though. Worst guy on the team every turn gets DA'd until we're competitive again. Could get very messy....

Pleased with a 4-1 for the Warmasters this turn, but my string of luck with the excellent skill learns recently came to a crashing halt this turn. Oh well, I guess I couldn't be that lucky forever.
