First off, I'd like to say that this was my first Face and I was unprepared. I sent in 37, and only 12 Rooks. I got 1 TC (Rookies). So....to be honest, I am really just a little disappointed b/c I thought I had some really good warriors who underachieved. I don't think I'd have gotten the TC if it hadn't of been for all of the help I received. Sylvester, Cosmo, & Mordraith, thanks for all of the strategy advice. Jekyll, Mithril, Kellumbo, Tazo, Rabbit, & Floyd, thanks for the styles. And we all got to hear Bookie read the Rookies TC fight as only he could do! I found that so many of the managers were just soooo helpful, even the Choas and old Firm guys were really cool. I guess the only bad thing is now I'm gonna feel bad about ragging them in the personals!!

So, in closing, Sandy, Lee, & Marie are great. And thanks to all of the managers who gave me soooooo much help!

Polarius
(TC'ed at his first face baby!)

Congrats.

Isn't it funny how bad match-ups can make those promising pre-tourney warriors seem so middle of the road? At least with the FtF you can style search your opponent and adjust srtats accordingly.

although when rookies gets to be 750 warriors it's a crapshoot for the first 5 rounds... but the greater control helps in the end...

Jekyll--No, it was Gillette. Of course it would have been much more fun to hear them read out "Don Keballs."

Sungod--Thanks! I really appreciate it. It feels kinda like the monkey is off my back now.

Oh, a couple more thoughts...the TC prize...hmmm...Guardian told me to email him...will probably deal it to him.

and last but not least...Memphis is a crap hole. Sorry to anyone who lives there but the parts I saw were nothing but crap hole's.

hey congrats again polarius, and i have to agree that memphis isnt the best place i have ever been to and do not plan on returning unless another face is held there......it was great meeting the kLk.....speaking of the kLk what about pdiddy, i am proud of the kid......he did awesome as well would have liked to see him win it but hey, i would like to know how many managers have made it to the tc fight not only at their first face to face, but one that has only been playin for 6 months....congrats to you pdiddy (keep that freak The love below away from my slasher).

Congrats are in order for both pdiddy and polarius. I also managed my first TV this time, although ive been playing for just slightly longer than pdiddy (9 months opposed to 6). Congrats to klk for not being as big a jerks in person as they are in the personals, seriously you guys were pretty cool. I have to give props for that move against Brujah, not at all what I was expecting. I would have honestly liked to see you win it too. I will see you all shortly in 36.

Help or no help, that's outstanding. Congratulations! (I think the consensus would be that any tourney with a TC is a good one. And it's a little early to get jaded anyway... Laughing )
