I totally disagree with Buri, IMO, slashers are the worst offensive style and will lose to any other offensives. Even if you go the trip 17, I would still make it a BA and train ST to 13.
You're certainly welcome to disagree, but I know Slashers fairly well, and IMO this is a good one. I've had many of mine graduate with dominating records, so rest assured I'm speaking from experience.

As we think you are hearing from others, there are many opinions in the game. Defining slashers as the worst offensive style is an interesting opinion. We run many bashers and slashers and strikers (And too many of everything!) and we can only say that a good slasher is hard to beat in DM. (Whoops! D2.) We have even graduated an undefeated, nonsandbagger, slasher. While we run the most ST, then BA, of the offensives, we would rather have a slasher than a ST/BA/LU.
This r/u would certainly make a nice SL. Our preference, as per above, was the ST, merely because of the 3 CON.

Our opinion? We just don't know. We might select the LU, although that probably starts a "discussion". We like the ST's decise, but the lack of attack ... and BA/SL have better skills, but ... We have TC'd with 3 different BA's, but ... We have graduated an undefeated, nonsandbagging SL (either went to 25 or 26 and 0) but ...
Ten years ago, we would have said the AB was the worst.
Now, well, they all have their uses.
So for us, the worst offensive style is probably the TP. Probably.
