#1 is what we would have done.

I would use the #1 design, make it a basher, then DA it when it didn't come back as good as I want it to!

The WL is so low I am tempted to DA this recruit out of hand. However... I always run 'em at least once to see what the overview looks like. Sometimes I'm pleasantly surprised. I would roll the dice and try this:
13-9-9-15-9-15-14 SL.
This violates my general rule of having at least a 15 in WT, WL, & DF for SL's, but hey, we all have to work with what we have. This would probably roll nicely (as nice as it could) with poor endurance, but good or great damage. Hey, the fight will be over in one or two minutes anyway... And some slashers are pretty good at stringing out their fights when you drop their AL to just one or two... as one would against a Parry-whatever. That's my 2¢.
