Mannequin is on the clock. He gets the first 3 picks from the prize pool:

Prizes:
1.) Limited stat switch (You can swap any 2 stats you want on an Arvat replacement rollup that you received within the next 6 month)

2.) Extra replacements (Next time you get a replacement (or whenever you want within 6 months) in Arvat you can ask RSI for 5 additional replacements and select the best one for your team)

3.) Limited damage bump (You can pick one warrior on your Arvat team to move up one damage class – as long as he remains in-bounds for his ST/SZ stats)

4.) Favorite weapon knowledge (You learn the favorite weapon of one of your Arvat warriors – must be on the team during the contest)

5.) Favorite rhythm knowledge (You learn the favorite offensive effort and activity level of one of your Arvat warriors, who most have been on your team during the contest.)

6.) Shrinking potion (You get to take 3 points of size away from an Arvat replacement during the next 6 months and add the 3 points to another stat – both SZ and the other stat must remain in bounds)

7.) Extra skills (Any one of your warriors in Arvat learns 3 extra skills of your choice (no more than 2 can be in the same area and must be in bounds)

8.) Extra train (Any one of your Arvat warriors gets an extra stat train in the area of your choice – and must be in bounds)

9.) The Dark One’s Massive Rollup prize (You get 50 team sheets, at random, from the Dark One’s massive pile of teams. Most will be mediocre at best, but there are plenty of decent to good warrior prospects in there!)

Thanks Everyone!

We are all set for prizes. Anyone with suggestions for rule changes for the next time we run this (Probably same time of year in 2020) please PM me on chat or e-mail me.

Changes I am already looking at are:

1.) 5 points for random matchups that you win, regardless of if you fight an NPC, someone out of the contest or someone in the contest.
2.) 5 points if you win a challenge from someone outside the contest
3.) If someone outside the contest challenges you, you can challenge them back the next turn and if you win you get 5 points.

Otherwise, for the most part, I felt the rules worked pretty well. I know some people had concerns that teams with existing warriors would have a great advantage winning DM slots and graduating warriors, but these were offset really well by the limited challenge opportunities up top and the bonus points for upchallenges available to lower warriors.

I'd love any rule suggestions so we can make things even better next time out.

Here are my suggestions for changes:
- Wins when challenged by another contest warrior should earn 10 points, just like a succesful challenge without the extra points. That still rewards the challenged who is supposedly at a disadvantage while not penalizing his team. It also should add pressure to the challengers.
- random wins against other contest warriors are good at 5 points, since there is no advantage given to a challenger, and the match-ups can be very unbalanced. But winning against an NPC in no way should give as many points, so:
- wins against NPCs should symbolically earn 1 point, and that's enough, as they are supposed to be beaten. And those points earned will still count in the end.
- losing against an NPC should give -5 points and "the right to be ridiculed"
- random wins against warriors who are not part of the contest should earn 2 points.
The thing is that a win should always be a plus, even though winning against contest warriors should remain the major way to earn points.
That's my 2 cents, as you guys say.
And thanks again for the contest, TDO, it was great fun!

Here's my suggestions:

A) 5 points for random match-up wins -- contest warriors, non-contest warriors or NPC's

B) 5 points for wins when challenged by non-contest warriors

C) 10 points for wins when challenged by contest warriors. Why? I think many of us realized it was better to challenge someone and lose to keep them from scoring big points.

D) If you have more than one team in the arena you can only run ONE team during the contest. This would help cut down on the amount of random match-up fights vs non-contest teams. It would also increase the odds of contest teams earning awards (DM, recognition leaders, current top team, team on the move and this week's favorite).
