Any word on what happened the past couple days? From the looks of it the database server went belly up. Glad it is back today, hopefully back for good. |

Many hypotheses but no actual answer. Restarting the server and/or stopping/starting services will get it going for a little while, then it gradually slogs back down. Memory usage seems higher than what I'd expect but there is no obvious culprit. It may be a hardware issue. I'm still working on tracking it down. Sorry it's annoying. |

Lee,
Sounds like a HW issue, but...
1) Check for Viruses
2) Check incoming traffic (Someone trying to hack / denial of service / etc)
If a HW issue, good luck. Those aren't fun, especially since it works on reboot. |

I cant seem to post anything either so here it goes ...
Ok .. I am looking at getting a Saturday catering thing going again for those that want in. I have not settled on a place yet and have sent out a bunch of emails tonight to the catering depts. of a few places I thought looked good.
I know we have at least one local player ( The Pope >? ) ... I would be happy to hand this effort off if anyone felt compelled to carry the torch of hunger. Just speak up soon.
All that being said , who is in on this if/when I get it all organized >? I know I have spoken to a few people on Chatzy but let's post here as well so it's easier for me to keep track of. Thanks.

I have been thinking about this for a while. Sorry that I have not spoken about it before now. I was leaning toward "The Mongomery Inn" [Boathouse location, downtown] for BBQ. Any thoughts? |
