On the surface, the numbers seem fine, with a 53% win percentage and a 10% award percentage. I shouldn't complain, but I lacked any really deep runs, so there was some excitement missing from the tourney that a finals fight would have provided.

SNAKE OIL SALESMAN started out 7-1 in Primus and then lost the last two to finish 7-3. My first Primus TV will have to wait for another day.

My three bust-outs went 7-3 in Eligibles, 2-3 in ADM, and 8-3 in Freshmen. The Eligible and Freshman had fine tournies but are now both retired. The ADM one did so poorly that he will get to try to set up for an Eligibles run down the road.

I thought my best spot would be Initiates, where I had 7 competitors.

TUREIS, October Rookies TC, went 2-3.
DALIM, October Rookies RU, went 8-3.
MUKTUK, October Rookies TV, went 6-3.
MU CHAMAELEONTIS, October Apprentices TV, died at 0-1. He is now perfectly timed for Dead Initiates next October!

I ran three others who had yet to prove themselves with an award, and they did pretty well, too. One of them TV'd at 9-3, and two others went 6-3 and 4-3. It was clearly a strong group of warriors, but it wasn't their day.

The Champion that I mentioned in my pre-tourney write-up earned an 8-3 TV. My Contenders and Challengers put up a bunch of 4-3 to 6-3 type performances. My Adept survived. I earned a pair of TVs in Apprentices and one more in Rookies.

Maybe I'll feel better about my performance once the stylemaster lists are published.

Congrats to the Consortium on his Adepts TC, and to the 9 other managers that TC'd (only one manager, TUM, earned two awards). I am going to try to hit the summer FtF, if it is conveniently timed and located. Hopefully I'll see some of you there.
