Hello All,
Does anyone know what number tourney the Face to Face Tourney was held in Wisconsin? It must have been in the 80s or 90s.

Looking into it...Wasn't in 80's, the first eastern FtF was in Baltimore 1991.

Can't find where 1999 or FtF 23 was held.

July 2011 or FTF 47 was in Milwaukee

Thanks for looking but the FtF tourney I went to was way before 2011, way before the name change to Duel 2. Perhaps it was FtF #1 or #3 or #4? Since I do not see newsletters for them in Visions trove perhaps this is the missing piece sadly Sad

Found it! My Bad, it was in Baltimore MD. Face to Face #7. I got it confused when I went to GenCon.

That Baltimore was the first "east FTF". Other than the Wisconsin one posted above (Milwaukee) there have been no WI Faces. The closest was the Allerton Hotel (Quite a place!) in downtown Milwaukee.

I can think of seven guys that for sure would attend, if another FTF was held in the great state of Wisco! However, Milwaukee does suck(IMO), as far as cities go. Could always do it in my childhood hometown, of Cushing! population of about 200, and unincorporated!

Psst - Allerton was in Chicago.....

I actually stayed there in 2019 - significant upgrades to the hotel.

I, too, stayed there later - maybe 2002ish (Slugbait's wedding - wedding party and friends stayed there), and agree it was quite upgraded. It also had become a member of a major chain - Marriot, I think.
