Marcinko vaults into 3rd place with a 217 minute fight! Can the scum-fest be won
by a Wall of Steel? He'll need a couple more fights like that if he's going to
catch Flinglebits though. Poor Picky Urchin can't get a break. Everyone keeps
challenging him even though he's in last place. Two competitors, Jhadzia Shimmermoon
and Strongest #3 fought each other--but the fight only lasted one minute. Go figure.

Turn 8 Standings
================
Flinglebits - 596
Toofless - 378
Marcinko - 250
Jhadzia Shimmermoon - 82
Sir Richard - 44
Strongest #3 - 34
Picky Urchin - 16

That is the last time that we place LV odds money on Picky.
It must be all President Bush's fault that Picky is not winning. Wink

Picky can scum anyone in this contest (though there are a few who could beat him to a bloody pulp), but he can't beat all the slashers challenging him. After the contest, we need to try and arrange some real scum matches (if I can ever get him that high) - I realize because of the prizes no one will let that happen.

Picky is a sissy if his teammates have to resort to challenging the other scum so Picky doesn't lose to them... Flinglebits hasn't lost a single scum vs. scum fight yet, even against non-scum fest high endurance/spongy warriors.

The crazy challenges by all the ABs and SLs out there are turning the scum fest into a bit of a joke. I'm trying to line up a big finish and get a LONG fight, but the challenges just keep coming. I've even tried challenging the SLs and ABs who've been doing the challenging with my non-scum fest warriors, but it doesn't seem to work (Part of THAT reason this last turn was because DMobster started doing it too when he hadn't been doing much challenging before. Didn't expect that...) I don't want to have to stoop to challenging scumfest warriors with my non-scumfest warriors.

The prizes are so good - it came down to a do whatever it takes to try and win. Since Picky was so far down, my only strategy was to try and beat the other members quickly, and then get some lucky challenge through for a long fight or two - but alas, I've been challenged also. I still say Picky can give anyone (almost) a run in a true scum fight...

I'd love to get a fight in with him, but now I have to avoid you. I avoided avoiding other scum fest teams for a long time to get good scum fights, but alas... it's a free for all now.

Good luck!

He's far too low in the rankings unfortunately to get any challenges in (sigh)

Yeah, I did notice that the other turn. If I was in range, I would have DC'd to line it up. Very Happy

Anything less than a four hour fight would be disappointing...
