Hey all,
I'm not dead, but the website has not been a priority for me.
I noticed that a warrior never got entered into the database, so the scores for the last few turns have been wrong. I've added the warrior (Smedley of Street Pizza) and added his fights. The current score report (Note that the newsletter for turn 522 is wrong!

Thanks,

Assur, is the IE column the endurance award qualification? Just wondering since I think I should qualify for it since I've been fighting all 5 warriors every turn for I think all but one turn of this thing. |

My DM 18 TV died as well. DeGotti still has one and the lead. I suspect we're going to have multiple teams hit 25+ at the same time and this is going to have to end up going to tiebreakers. |

I sent 2 from 18.
One of them TV'd. But unfortunately I am sure this will be his last turn in the Arena. I did however send in a TV challenge out since I was pretty sure he was going to TV. So thats 1. The other went 5-3 but got some great skills and should be a beast. The rest I didn't send. |

I don't think there is an endurance award in this one is there? |

Unfortunately, there is. It's the only reason why half of the teams haven't dropped out of the contest, but even worse, aren't even paying attention anymore. There are several teams who haven't made challenges since the start of the contest.
Frankly, I think it's shameful for the premier Delarquan contest in the game to have a feel good "everyone who plays, wins!" prize. That said, it has arguably made things more interesting, just because the fear of losing out on the Endurance prize has been the downfall of many teams that have had big leads. |

Well the problem now is that some of the very top lead teams can challenge down to the ones not paying attention for easy wins. The other problem is its pretty much up to the other "not so top" teams to stop that from happening. It should be interesting. |

Well it looks like the top teams slipped a bit. And not ALL the teams that are just in it for the endurance award are not paying attention. And the most earth shattering thing happened this turn....Mark of Heroes finally won a fight! Now he is going to string together 10+ wins in a row I tell ya! And I'll come out of now where to win this thing. Yeah, that will happen... |

Only six warriors bothered to issue avoids, and WASTELAND received three of them (two from NEXT GENERATION). |
If 2 were from Next Generation than there are 4 other warriors avoiding a contest team.. |

Of course I'm with alot of other managers. I don't think I'll will.......but I DO want the +1 skill prize.
Anway, I'll predict that Degotti will take it. |

I've been tracking the challenges--and most of them aren't. Azrael seems to be the best of the non-contenders who keep paying attention, while he's near the bottom of the standings, I admire his fighting spirit.
Since you are paying attention, may I suggest that you sit Mark of Heroes out every now and then to keep people honest? You are well above the 90% threshold at this point, where you can start being more judicious with your sit-outs.
I agree that it's DeGotti's contest to lose right now. |
