Manager,

If your ever going to run another Scumfest I have a suggestion. Drop rewarding non TP vs TP fights. I know I was in on one of the first ones and my guys couldn't even match up with any TPs because ABs were all over them.
I ran an "Aimed Blow Challenge 2002" in Lirin Kiv. Points were based on ABs vs ABs. More pts for beating higher or even ranked AB, points for beating lower ranked AB, lesser pts for beating non-AB. Pts for kills also.
Wanted to mention this to you in the past, but never got around to it. I would like to run a few scummers in a Scumfest but let us crown true scumness by settling it on the sands and not by who can avoid the party-crashers and who gets lucky enough to get a challenge through.

thoughts?

I could restrict challenging TP's with non-TP's from within the competition, but how do prevent people outside the competition from challenging with their AB's? I don't want to give an advantage to the person who just has the most friends. If there were a "closed" ADM arena, then that would be perfect...but since I can't prevent collusion, my only thought was to allow all forms of it.

There is no 100% way to get those not participating to hold their challenges. Lirin Kiv was a small arena and we just repeatedly asked those to NOT challenge. Of course there were a couple who did, so I sent my non-ABs after them to block.
We also held a 1 turn ALL STYLES bare-handed challenge in Crysalis. Almost everyone participated and we asked for NO challenges or avoids and for everyone, regardless of style to run barehanded. Almost everyone did. A couple didn't but what can you do. I threw some challenges at them to get alittle "pay back" for being a party-pooper but it still was fun.
If you held it in Andorak, giving plenty of time for people to fill out an immigration sheet, perhaps that would be the arena where people might respect what the tournament was trying to accomplish. You could hold it in Crysalis. Only those who really wanted to participate would come to a slow arena and the managers there would most likely support and stay out of the way.
I would just like to see a real scumfest where TPs are consistenly matching up and avoids are an afterthough. Just my 2 cents.

It's not a bad idea. Plus, having it in 107 or 105 would work ok if there were a lot of warning...I'll take it into consideration.

Perhaps after the fall mail-in? Start advertising in July and everyone who really wants to do it will be there.

Yeah it would have to be after a Mail-In for sure because it has to coordinate with the ADM Split movement stuff. I'm not sure when though.

Yeah, when's his starting? We may want to throw our hat in the middle.

Yeah! I want to win another one, but actually do it by having LONG fights instead of pounding my opponents down in minute 900.

It would have to be at the start of the split. So how about April 2007?
