Coming back to the game after a long (like maybe 9, 10 year) hiatus, I see a lot has changed. Hoping you could fill me in as I don't want to be even more annoying to the CS folks, who have been remarkably helpful as is.
Mostly I'm curious about what happened to the transfer arenas. I moved like a dozen teams to 69 when it opened up. Are they all in the Dwes Eg arena or what? And what's the deal with Dwes Eg, anyhow--that newsletter looks all funky. Is it just another arena or what?
And I know you don't have an answer, but why Sibikhas? Why? Wahhhh...
Oh well. Y'all come play in arena 6. |

The newsletter for DM-82 is all messed up right now. Lee is working on getting it fixed at the moment. Some og the broken things in the newsletter:
1) Not all active warriors appear in the rankings (I have had several warriors run in 'stealth mode' for a while now. No one can see them to challenge them.)
2) The dead don't drop off the list like they should.
3) The team rankings don't format correctly becuase there are more than 99 teams.
4) If a warrior has 0 kills the 0 is not displayed.
Thats just off the top of my head.
Any teas you had in the old transfer arenas are still there. You can move them to 82 to run them if you want to play those teams. You just need to give RSI a call. |

Also be sure to go the "Cool Player Links" on the reality.com site and go to Terrablood and Pagan's sites and try to soak in all you can. welcome you back, after taking 8+ years off I stumbled on the reality site and I'm hooked all over again!!! Don't get discouraged if you get bombed for a few months things will get better as you figure out all the things that the long running managers learned since '92 when I left. |

What team did you have in 37? I ran The Black Company (moved to 1 3 months ago when I came back after 5 years away).
Welcome back! |

Thanks guys. I remember what I knew back then, but I admit I don't know how much I don't know right now...but it'll be fun all the same.
Darkfist, I ran Soulthieves in 37. It was my second favorite arena, and I'm unhappy to see it closed. I guess I should have come back sooner, but it just wasn't possible. I remember you and your team there, though I don't know how much we mixed it up. So The Black Company in arena 1 is the same one from 37? I'll be running my team there next turn (Soul Harem), so see you out there. |

Sigh: I did a total brain dump I guess, I barely remember your team. I never was much into hostility so I doubt we had 'issues' anyway. Sharky loved to rag on me but we got along pretty well in person/via phone/whatever.
Welcome to Mordant, glad to have you around. I feel a personal sense of responsibility to keep the 1st arena ever running strong. |

I definitely understand that, I'm surprised to be remembered in any degree to be honest. I already see names in one place and later will see a manager name or something someplace else and only then put it all together. I only ran two to ADM from 37, Pharaoh Kophru and Selena Steele (neither of them are good, but they were a lot of fun). Had a bunch of good ones die on me...I liked it. |

I think I fought Selena Steele way, way back when in a tourney. Rember it because of the reference to a favorite 'clASSically' trained actress I adored. I'll have to look it up. Think she fought Pooh Bear.... |

I have none of my old stuff (lost in a move). I amused myself naming her that because I knew she'd be able to take a pounding. |

I also used to play about hmm I am not sure but it seems like perhaps 8 years ago give or take a few. I started at a gateway game convention if I remember right and played my way up through the rankings to garner a pretty nice ranking (I think I had a TV with my offensive TP) and played for a while in DM 64 Kurukar. It seems that Kurukar has since shut its gates and packed its sand over to some island somewhere leaving me now to also find a new arena. The only people I really remember are they guy I met at the tourney, jolly, neuromancer (?) I think he is the one that really helped me after I started getting into it. Hmm I have been reading the posts and it is a difficult choice between all of these arenas, what arenas are some of you other returning managers thinking about ?
Integrity has grit in it,
