So how did everyone do? I talked to several managers at the site about how they did, some were disappointed, others with a TC or three were obviously pleased. I'd love to hear any thoughts about the tournament.

For me, I was surprised that it wasn't larger. I would guess there was 20 people in attendance. Hopefully its not indicative of things to come, just some people taking a small break or with conflicting plans.

As always, I had a great time immersing myself in Duel2-ness. Thanks to the lovely ladies of RSI for running such a smooth tournament and thanks to my fellow competitors for the stiff competition.

As for my results, I did some number crunching and confirmed what was a disappointing tournament for me. I generally shoot for 60% w/l and 15% TV, but I failed miserably this time around. I sent 47 warriors, went 159-140-5-2 (~ 53% win) with 4 TVs (8.5% TV).

Despite the tough competition, there were a few positive notes to the tournament for me. I got my 1st Eligibles TV with Sushi Slinger at 8-3, and this is despite them raising the line for Eligibles. This performance combined with his 6-3 at the mail-in makes me think he will be a consistent Eligibles competitor.

My other TVs were an 8-3 in Inits and two 12-3s in Rookies, all ABs. Two of them were experimental designs for me, so I seem to have opened up a use for some rollups that I would have dismissed otherwise.

The other positive note is that I had numerous good warriors who were mistimed for this tournament and didn't compete (including 3 excellent ones who have recently returned from the dead), so hopefully my crew for the next Mail-In will be stronger than this.

Here's hoping, anyway. I'm already excited for the upcoming Mail-In.

The FTF was very fun for me. Hanging out with players from my own home town (Milwaukee) was a huge plus.

After we stayed up until 4am reading the mail in Bloodgames run offs, I have a new love for death dealing.

I really did'nt have anything well timed, and no awards, but hit my first Blademaster train and ran away with 2 Bloodgames Grads (one from each arena).

Whenever the summer location is announced, I'll be making reservations for sure.

Hah, I didn't know that was you, Mojo.

I enjoyed returning to DM. It was a lot of fun, even if I only ran rookies.

12 warriors, 57.4% W/L and 2 TVs.. which is about what I average at faces. (I'm over 60% and 18% in mailers). But...its been 2 years and I could only run rookies so it was good.
