I will be there, as always.

See you on the sands.

Confused

This thread is interesting.

RSI provides many arenas in which to play.

I was under the impression that the theme of this arena was very simple:
1. No hidden FE.
2. No partial teams (i.e. all five fight).

Additional "implied themes" keep popping up.

That being said, smack-talking always adds flavor. Very Happy

Now all we need is Deke back, a new arena committee, and a bunch of people whining about the rules and we'll be right back at the beginning of the arena! Smile

I miss one turn and suddenly I'm on the side of a milk carton. I should be back next turn. Just prepping my basher squad. I saw some other fun stuff in this thread though...

First off, I have a really good scum created by one of the best managers in the game and I got clobbered in the f2f running a similar strat to the one mentioned in this thread. Therefore, I don't believe any style or strat automatically allows a warrior to coast to victory. Afterall, I don't recall any scum being DM in 81 yet.

Secondly, I saw Kellumbo come under fire. The best way to teach a downchallenger the error of their ways is to DC them back and I'd wager Kellumbo would still come out on top.

In any case, I thrive on watching managers provoke each other since it brings more spectacle to the arena matches, so please carry on.

SwineTiger

p.s. Having seen some of LA PENTARCHIE's stable, my money is on them.

Very nice of you to say SwineTiger. The few times in the past in this arena where someone has downchallenged me and gotten me, I have done nothing but tipped my hat to them. Live by the DC, lose by the DC and all that. It's not like I downchallenge, then whine when it happens to me. That said, I just filled out my strats for this past turn, and have made it a point to go out of my way to no downchallenge as much. Really, I did. Really. Oh, and I am sure I did not challenge Fuchi at all.

I think D2 needs to take a page from the UFC to build up its ratings. For example:

Step right up folks for tonight's main event!

In the red corner, we have the current reigning champ, Nuyen "the Nihilator" Nick, representing the Fuchi Owned stable with a MMA (mixed mailed-in arts) record of 17 wins, 10 losses and 3 kills. And in the black corner we have Deana "the downchallenging damsel of doom" from Kellumbo's Kids with a MMA record of 20-10.

Striker versus striker in the biggest grudge match turn 31 has ever seen!

Tune in to this slay-per-view title/throne match of epic proportions!

Also, it's Nightbane or India versus Onyx in a slumber party cage match.

This time it's personal (well, personal ads).

The way you sucked it up and fled from 105 after I was smashing you there?

I find it no surprise you would pipe in here.

Yes, mighty Kellumbo, you are so devastating that I ran scared from 105, sold all of my tourney warriors to avoid fighting you, and nearly drove my car into the lake out of sheer desperation, too. Would you like to threaten to kill all of my tourney warriors in 82 like you have everyone else's, also?

Now back to the part about you playing like a pussy and whining when people call you on it.

Dang dude. I didn't mean for it to be that hard on you. It's just a game....sheesh. Smile Let's have a beer at the face and put all this behind us.

PS. Yes, I'll kill all your warriors in 82 as well. rawr

Well I'm glad I started this posted regarding turn 30 in Shadowspire. I can't wait for turn 31. Yes I do believe my interest in 81 is returning.

Yuuummm, beer......

As Elephant pointed out, nobody is going to change anyone's attitude on this subject. If this discussion nets out a beer at the FTF for anyone, then it's been more productive than most.
