I remember when I did the D&D thing back in the early '80's. I've always wondered what it would be like to go back in time and experience those nerdy old school fantasy games. You know, back before the advent of hi-tech play-by-mail games killed the industry and brought in a new breed of ultra cool hipster gamers like the D2 crowd. My history teacher Mr Holmes held daily gaming sessions after school in his classroom. It wasn't just D&D but also Boot Hill, and military games like Panzer Blitz and some other flying games. I DM'd and played until I got out of the Army. You would be shocked to see how many people inside the Army still to this day play D&D.
