Since I know that a lot of you put creative thought into your team and warrior names, I'm working on putting together a panel of 5 or so impartial judges from outside the arena to vote on their favorite team and warrior names (they will each select two of each, but the picks will all be bundled together to come up with 1 winner in each category).

The winners will get either a cert or - if I can swing it with RSI - renaming of the two NPC guys.

4 of our 5 judges have been selected, which include TMM, Mannequin, Managerr, and Kellumbo, all of which know better than to run a team of bashers.

In any case, their choices and - if they choose to share with the smelly lot of you - their reasons why, will be posted in a spotlight in the next newsletter. I'm also hoping they'll share a tip or two on the bashing style since apparently swinging a heavy object quickly was too challenging for many of you.

If I've offended any of you, that's what the PAs are for you dang mutes.

Just so it's in print, you'll go from 5-0 to a 1-4 turn next turn. Wink

Why, are you going to switch our names in the Newsletter? Oh wait, that would be this turn.

In any case, I just got my matches back and a couple of them were quite entertaining in regards to the amount of back and forth bashing that went on (I'm more used to two hit take downs either with or against my bashers). Good times!

Imagine the power of your prophecy. Switch the names in the NL. How rich!

Twisted Evil

Congratulations again on getting this done, my friend.

TUM has signed on as our final judge and RSI has approved the renaming prize of a couple NPC warriors, so stay tuned for the next newsletter in which the winners will be announced and the losers denounced.

Also, if for some fluke reason I win an award, I'll pass it on to the runner-up chump, but so far I'm not in the running at all (maybe I need to expand the judges pool... Evil or Very Mad ).

The five judges have all voted on the best team and warrior names, so their responses have been bundled into a collective spotlight with the two winners getting to each rename a NPC warrior, thus playing an immortal role in the arena. I thought I would have it in the bag, but thought wrong.

By the way, there's still time to say something mean spirited in the personal ads, so take advantage of the Stomping Grounds uncivilized format and let managers really know how much fun it was to pummel them. Maybe I'll find a prize for the best insult.

The Winners have been announced in the current newsletter.

Best team name: Go To Flail
Best warrior name: Stop! Hammer Time

Thanks again to the judges who each penned their own portion of the Amaulican Idol spotlight.

Winners: Please PM me with a name for an arena 20 NPC.

Very enjoyable spotlight.

If only I'd known beforehand that this was a bad pun themed arena instead of an all Basher arena!

Given their collective fear of the arena, I'd say they were all Seacrest's. I guess that includes you too Wink

I don't think it's possible to separate the two. Someone should name their team the PUNishers.
