About the same. We had a few oldies come back (not sure they like that term though) in Purple Sage and Marmaduke.
Haven't really noticed that much of a change in the arena, but this place has been quiet for months, at least compared to pre-Winter tourney chatter.
Welcome back! Now find Bum and get his sorry hide here too. |

Well we had this pointy headed dweb named something like epi-pen or ajax or something like that who could run warriors OK but was just a general nuisance and so afraid to come to arena 29 and do battle with the managers there but its all good. Other than that lots of stuff has happened. Like I went undefeated in Primus one turn with my contender and eligible warrior there. There was a plaque made and everything. It was a momentous occasion.
Sincerely your humble and informative Purple Sage |

Ajax I remember. Epi-pen? Isn't that some kind of pregnancy test??? And Bum is toast mostly. I've tried getting in touch with him so many times I've given up. Sadly. |

Glad your back.
The game is alive and kicking with most of the same names.
New things:
1. An AD regional tourney is under way. Although in true RSI fashion nobody knows if it has run already or what the results are or when anyone will know them. It is assumed that eventually the info will escape.
2. RSI sent out a big add about wanting to create a couple of "role playing arenas." I like the idea, but nothing appears to have happened yet.
3. Rumor of a few minor game changes around the summer ftf, but no one seems to know for sure about anything. Or perhaps I should say that I don't know anything about any changes. As always, maybe something happened.
4. A few people have retired and a few people have come back - like you!
5. Fall mailer is about to go, but that should be no surprise. But I'm going to get a TC this time, so that might surprise a few people. (Like me)
6. Pikers are now the new "it" style, having supplanted Aimers once it was discovered that unarmed aimers were vulnerable to pikes. Can't get close enough to hit and the pikes are hard to dodge. In fact, this is such a new occurance that nobody seems to have realized it yet.
And that is about all the news from Alastari these days. |

You really know how to make a trend of this, Apex. Didn't you just liquidate and leave last year again?
Whatever the case, always good to get a brother back! Chatter on the site has been pretty dead lately. Feel free to fire up in Sunset! |

Actually, I didn't sell anything other than a decent AB to Dwayne. So I still got all my stuff. |

So you kept all your INDECENT warriors?
It is good to have you and your indecent crew back. |

I would encourage you to take a look at arena 18. We got another Royale Rumble going, roughly only 5-6 turns in, so if ya' got a good team there or one you could move there it's still early. You'd be starting 6 points ahead of me as it stands and the leader is around 10 points with 25 needed to win. I have warrior specifics I could share to get you off to a quick start!
Oh yeah and the prizes are well worth it but they only go to the winner.
6 Months Free Play in Talcama for the winning team (doesn't include tourneys)!
One +1 Bonus Potion (up to max for warrior, to be used on a warrior in DM 18 )!
One Limited Damage Bump Potion (one time use, up to max for stats, used on DM 18 warrior)!
One Minor Stat Switch Prize (up to 2 points can be moved from one stat to another stat on a new rollup in DM 18, before adding 14 points. This prize can be used up to 3 months from the contest end. Both points must be used in the same place (can't take one from a speed and one from deftness and add one to wit and will))
One Favorites Knowledge Potion (to be used on a 5+ FE warrior in DM 18 )
Rename One Dark Arena Creature in DM 18, which will be renamed for 6 Months or until the Ladies decide to return it to the previous name.
All potions/renaming prizes must be used within 2 turns of the end of the contest. |
