. . . and my condolences ahead of time for all warriors killed by the sting of my whiffle!
So how long do we typically have to wait to receive results? A day or two?

It takes a while for everything to run, get printed out, and organized. I wouldn't expect anything until the beginning of next week.

I still remember the days when I was playing back in college. I remember being so happy that my tourney finally arrived and I would have something to read--during my THANKSGIVING BREAK.

Speaking of the good ol' days, I remember when some people used to post tourney teasers after the tourney...

Shoot I remember when we got minis about 6 weeks before a tourney... hell when we got minis AT ALL!

5 Years from now, we'll be reminiscing about the time when RSI used to send out tourney announcements....

I called earlier today to request a reprint of a regular arena. I was told that the tourney is done running. They expect to be mailing things out on Thursday and/or Friday.
I am most looking forward to the Rookies, as I have 4 prize modified warriors competing there. I'm hoping that I win enough prizes to resurrect the ones that die.
I think my best chance at a prize is in the Initiates, where I have a ST with a former TV who has great damage, a Master in Dec, and an Expert in Att.
I'm also interested to see how Gringold, my first Contender, fares.
I don't expect much from the rest. I have a feeling that my Challenger and Freshman crews were simultaneously screwed, and the other classes are a bit weaker than normal for me. Still, you never know!

Hehe, I hear you on rookies. I am sending in my triple 21 AB and am already earmarking either a rez or immortality potion for her.
It will be interesting to see how Inits go. You striker is definately better than the strikers I am sending, but I have a pretty strong field with diverse styles I am sending there. I have about 4 strikers who are expert + in attack, and are sitting at about 22-23 decise with good/great damage. Your guy is definately faster, but I may simply get you by sheer numbers.
I'm excited for Challengers as well. It doesn't appear that there was a Challengers Split, but I would still expect your TC from the summer ftf to get manually pulled. We'll see. Either way, my LU you beat in the final is trying to finish busting WL to 21, so maybe that will be enough. I know I specifically tweaked my vs. TP strat with your TP in mind. I just hope he's good enough to beat the other TPs running as hot as I have him running to try to keep up with your monster.
I think I am most excited for ADM. I have three guys busting, one of which was RU in this class two years ago (Lucias Clay). I just hope that my strong tank LUs are good enough to take the beating I'm sure TMMs AB is going to dish out, and be able to dodge/rip some and hit him enough to put him down.
I've got the past mail in's App TC fighting in Adepts this time, but other than that, I have nothing in that class. I've really got nothing in Champs and Apps this time. Freshman I could see doing well in if things fall right, but I could also see me not TVing there as well.
I have one dead Challenger I'd love to get back, but aside from him, I'm not too attached to any of my dead guys.
Lastly, I'm very curious to see how my Champs RU from the summer ftf does in her first Challengers tourney. She is a nice defense bonussed, prize modified Striker, so it will be interesting to see how she looks against the studs in that class.
Best of luck to everyone. I hope you all get that *fist pump* fight sometime during the tourney.

I decided to sit my prize mod ST Kennelworth in hopes for a possible spring run and replaced it with my triple Master ST from 18. I only sent 3 in 2 classes (4 and 30 FE) and sent 5 dead. As expected I sat all my ADM warriors not knowing if they were low end in the higher class or high end in the lower class based on not knowing their classification. Was going to up my last 2 squads of 15 up to 20 or possibly 25 but instead kept it to 11. Perhaps with this small squad I can top my best award percentage for a tourney which is 20%. 15 sent 3 TVs, so if I can manage 3 TVs or god forbid if either the 30 FE class is weak or either my 4 FE PR or 21/21 LU can catch a break a TC?
I'll just be plain ole happy if I can get my prize mod AB back (+4 ATT (17 DF) +4 DEF +2 RIP).

I have high hopes these...
A 141 skill LU in Champs, who is +4 in ATT/DEC/DEF/RIP. He came back from the dead in Apprentice a couple years ago and TV'd in Adepts about a year ago.
I also have a couple of experimental SL'ers and LU'ers in Apprentice and my usual group of Rookies that include 2 PR's. Though these are my 2nd choice of the group from last April, both of whom made it into run-offs, with one being the runner-up.
