I am not sure why Black Flag is listed as a PS when hes a TP. I knew he was going to lose to Littlest Tyrant but at least he made it to round 3 Very Happy Very interesting to read all the fights.

If this were an annual run I believe it could produce , at the least, a small bump in ADM participation as people at the very least would try to get a warrior into position to be a participant.

I haven't discussed frequency with RSI yet, but from talking to them, Lee did a lot of overhead work for this so that next time it will actually be easier to run. It should be easier for her to re-use the tweaks to the matchup program (though next time she said we must use an even number of warriors on each team) and upload the fights...

Because this was thrown together at the last minute, we need to schedule better and hopefully have the regular arena portion of the contest longer too....the idea is to get ADM participation in the regular arenas up. It worked in some arenas, others not so much.

When will next round appear (so we know when picks are due.... TIGHT RACE now it appears at first glance)?

The plan is for next round 3 to appear with Free Blades, Round 4 with Darkholm, etc. But it depends on Lee's time. I get the information a little bit in advance since I'm helping write the report so I'll know if it's on schedule in a day or two. Since I think Free Blades posts on Sunday, Lee will likely upload the fights on Saturday, so have your picks on Friday Evening/Saturday Midnight.

Defiance isn't a Lunger either. I will personally fire the person providing the trivia info to the spyreporters! Razz

We were all cheering for Black Flag. You totally caught him without his dagger, too bad you couldn't parry him out...

# of Correct Picks Round 2:
===========================
Mun - 11
Dark One - 10
Mannequin - 10
Street Legal - 10
Darque - 10
Crip - 10
OAB - 9
Consortium - 9
Aragorn - 9
Marmaduke - 9
stormlord - 8

The Mun wins the round based on the pick of his own warrior, Bloodbath to beat Dallas. (Crip also picked Bloodbath, but lost the lead when he also picked his own warrior, who lost)

Overall Score:
===============
Mannequin - 21 + 20 = 41
The Dark One - 20 + 20 = 40
Stormlord - 24 + 16 = 40
Street Legal - 19 + 20 = 39
Master Darque - 19 + 20 = 39
Crip - 19 + 20 = 39
Aragorn - 20 + 18 = 38
The Mun - 16 + 22 = 38
OAB - 18 + 18 = 36
Marmaduke - 17 + 18 = 35
The Consortium - 12 + 18 = 30

The last round, Stormlord won, this round he came in last, so the race has tightened up. With this round being 3 points, 8 people are within one pick. In case anyone is wondering, the tiebreaks will be guess the # of minutes in the Final Fight, followed by the timestamp of your last entry.
(earliest responder wins)

Match-Ups for Round 3: (Due Saturday 12:00 AM, that's Friday night)
======================
Bloodbath vs. Death Fog
Cooler vs. Jackson
Snotman vs. Natas
Defiance vs. Harv
Gossamer vs. Baron Stonewall
Nightcap vs. Vision
Shewish Whaler vs. Littlest Tyrant

I now understand how the match ups are working! As you may have noticed, the match-ups posted on the Regional Tourney page roughly is
the bracket the tourney is following. So the Bloodbath/Death Fog winner should meet the Cooler/Jackson winner. The caveat is that if two people from the same region win and are supposed to fight, one of them is supposed to get randomly moved. That's why we can't do all the picks
at one time. Also, if you notice, we will only have seven winners after this round. The NPC (right now) is waiting for the Shewish Whaler vs. Littlest Tyrant winner, but that could change.

While I'm not in the contest, I have to say that reading the fights have been great. Even though I may have whined a little about the delay, it's been worth it. I think I like reading other fights more than my own. Thanks to all involved and I hope this continue on a yearly basis.......GO Freeblades

I was pleasantly surprised that Heart Breaker, my P/L, won her first fight against Golderie, a stylemaster in P/Ling. She finished 7-3 in the mail-in in Freshmen, the farthest that I've had any tourney warrior go. It was too bad that she, at 38 FE, was paired to fight the 192 FE Vision...a bit of a mismatch if I've ever seen one. There wasn't anyone with a little less FE disparity? It was still fun and thanks for going to all the trouble to get this done.
