Heyas,

Just dropping in to see if any old time managers are still around? This is the Master of Anime (for those who don't know me, my only claim to fame is that I had a decent team kill record (Anime Legends) in Sunset back in the days... Smile

I remember you from Sunset, as well, I think (or at the very least, your claim to fame).

Great to hear from you Alan! Sunset is indeed alive and well as you can see from the newsletter, enjoying a resurgence of late with many returning vets starting new teams up!

I used to run The Cripplers and later the Borribles back in the day, but have been running Grim Fandango there since about 2002 or so. The Broken Bone is still open, but Baba Yaga's has been boarded up too long, my friend! Get yourself some turn sheets, it's that easy! Very Happy

Hey MoA! I still remember Akira and Eve back from when I was a newbie!

There are a handful of oldies still around. The Dark One, Caesar, Visionist, TUM, Guardian, etc. Occasionally one of the old GAPPDA crew will pop in like you just did and ask how everyone is doing.

I remember Akira well from when Vengeance was climbing the ranks. I also recall that one of us killed the other one, but can't remember who came out on top. It's been a LOOOONG time.

Wow, I do remember a number of you! And yes, I remember the Cripplers/Borribles!

I checked the Sunset Newsletter... what happened? I left that arena 15-20 years ago with more than twice as many kills as the top kill team now... Things have sure changed... LOL.

Assur! Wow, I do remember Goldilocks! How's she doing? And I still live in the bay area as well!

Vengeance... there's a name from Akira's past... Is Vengeance among the top 5 warriors in DM now? I can only imagine...

I can only confess I'm not the cold-blooded Angel of Death you (and several others) used to be back in the day! Ultraist and Damian are retired, and I prefer to kill more...strategically, shall we say! Smile

Still a deadly place, still the Jewel of the Delarquan Federation. No quarter and no apologies, but there are no major feuds going on or anybody really out for blood at the moment, just good fierce competition.
It'd be awesome to have one of our old cornerstone teams back! (hint hint nudge wink) Wink

Don't make me come in there and show you boys how an "old school Andorian" kills Laughing

If one of you can convince Manager to throw about 15 fights in a row to me and let me win the 18 contest I may have time to come in there with my group of Wisemen!

And to avoid a threadjack:

Y'know 1 team is not that expensive to run.... barring you recatch the fever!
