There are many Boise State disbelievers (and believers) on site.
Hurray that tonight is the night that we find out if ...
BS is a true gamer
or
Boise State is mere BS |
I wish that were true; however, even if BSU wins tonight, they will lose to someone eventually (whether this season or a following season). And the moment it happens, some nob will cry "I told you so."
I think last year's undefeated season, including victories over two teams who finished in the top 10, convinced me they are a true gamer and deserve the same opportunity as teams from "real conferences" to fight for a national title.
Playoff system ends the debate. |

Dwayne,
I realize the Big East isn't that great this year, but someone (Pitt? WV?) is going to get a spot one of those bowls, deserved or not. I'd love to say it will be USF, but I think Skip Holtz will need a year or two to get the team to that level. |

They have an offer out there that they will play ANY team in a home-and-home series but nobody will take it. That usually means you haved arrived. |

Oops, you're right. Brain fart. Maybe West Virginia instead of Miami? Pittsburgh and Cinci already week 1 losers. |

Probably the best week 2 in a loooooong time tommorow. For college fans, do your chores on Friday and get the beer and steaks ready! Just WOW.
Starting at 12PM:

#23 GA @ SC - SC looked pretty good in its opener.
1220PM
USF @ #4 Florida - The way UF looked this could be close.
330PM
#20 FSU @ #7 OU
Michigan @ Notre Dame
340PM
#13 Miami @ #2 OSU
7PM
#19 Penn State @ #1 Alabama
#11 Oregon @ Tennessee
730PM
NC State @ UCF - I smell upset here.
1030PM
Virginia @ #14 USC - Could be closer than anticipated |

James Madison just doomed Boise State.
Its all over ESPN that Boise had to hang their hat on the one huge win they had over Virginia Tech where they barely won. Then James Madison turns around and beats VT. Boise won't even smell the championship now. They might make a BCS Bowl but thats it. |

They might not even make a BCS game if TCU passes them which could now happen too.
Did the Big 10/Big 12 pay off VaTech to take a dive? |

&^%$ Had control both feet down forearm hits, possesion, rear end hits more possesion, then he hits the ground and spikes the ball down trying to push himself up and brace his fall. It's his second move which caused the fumble. |

Corruption has infested college football and the NFL but to me it seems a little worse in college football...maybe just a little...I still can't help but follow it but MUCH less than previous years. |

Wow! You're still blithering on about BSU? Why don't you just give credit where credit is due? We've seen two weeks of football. |
