Manray won one of the BRs so I'm guessing he's the ?? Manager listed. Although I think he won 3 and TMM won the last one. That's the one where Mithril hit 20 early and a behind the scenes alliance pulled him back with great difficulty.

The ??? is the winner for this year, I think there have only been 4. I don't remember Manray ever winning, but I think Ichabod won that 100 Beer Bottle Contest. Yeah, Mithril opened up a huge lead in the last one early and then folded when he kept running all 5 of his guys. (Should have forgone the bonus pot participation prize and gone for the win)

Wasn't it the one in the era of Double-Blind Bat. I remember him having a WS named Zocorcupine who beat one of my guys to win it. This is BR5 if you go to the second page of this forum Trip announces the BR5 signup. That would make him the BR 3 winner and TMM BR 4 winner.

Here you go from the final page of the general tourney forum:

Battle Royal 4
The Battle Royal arena contests are one of the purest tests of manager skill available. The rules are simple. The scoring is simple. The updates are live. If you would like to participate, simply get a team ready in Talcama in the next month and announce in the personals that you're in. The prize is bragging rights and having your name along side previous winners (Doc Steele, Manray Frothingslosh, and Manager). It is a brutal contest, but it is a lot of fun!

Basic rules: No avoiding other contest teams. Score = Wins + Kills - Losses.
Only fights against other BR teams count. First team to 25 wins!

BR4 begins in Talcama (DM 1 on turn 502, due on Jan 29, 2005.

I stand corrected. Weird, I don't remember that at all. I do remember Double Blind Bat though.

Here I come Wink

We need to get Manray back if only to see a DBB versus DDB match. A battle of the uber PRs.

Thank you.

I may not be the manager you or some of the others are, yet, but you know one thing about me I'm a Bulldog

BTW, there was a strat input error either by me or by RSI when our ST's fought. I wouldn't mind trying again if you want to go for a matchup next turn to see who gets the point? Wink

I think that if the two warriors happen to meet again in a critical tournament match-up, (Like say, Inits tourney Round 9) then the winner should get a point.
