O.K., somebody has to say something, so we will say we were quite satisfied with the 4-1 our team earned. Yes! And we have to say that we (Consortium part of the team) are quite pleased to see us at 6-4 so far. |

A couple of notes:
- For the Final 4, start thinking about what your "decrees" for turn 550 are going to be if you win. If you can get them into me before Turn 4 runs, that would be great. Would like to announce it early to give people time to prepare.
- We'll do the Consolation Prize pool draft in the forums after Turn 4--you should kind of know where you're going to end up in the competition, so start plotting accordingly. The employee teams (A-Sop and Emerald Orbs) won't take any prizes, so some of you might be moving up in the pecking order. (And just because they're employee teams doesn't mean you should totally assume they aren't paying any attention either)
I'm so embarrassed I let A-Sop score on me... |

Yes, good work Pot Luckers (especially you with your 4-0, Consortium).
And I must say that while I figured Sushi might get beat by that upstart PR, he has been duly punished by ranking dead last in Primus! |

I'm still enjoying this at 0-2. Of course, running probably the most under-developed warrior in the contest, I wasn't expecting great things.
My goals before contest end:
1) Hit my final STR train.
2) I would love to win, but I will settle for a fight report that does not have the words--mismatched, one-sided, or uneven in it. (stupid spy reporters and their make out parties) |

Not sure about Sidon, but I do know there's a couple of Eligibles in the contest...
Carnivorous Sloth is a former Gateway Champion, so no shame in losing to him. |

Yep, he's was a Contender briefly (just long enough to get me out of 106 into 102. Then he dropped into Eligible range again. I'm just now hitting the strides in his trains, so he will probably be out of there in about 5 more trains.

Cool! I don't know my Gateway and Primus history as well as the Basic game. |

I'm also enjoying it. Fun to be back in Primus for a few turns. Next turn we face Marmaduke for 14th place (just being realistic) and this one looks on the surface to be a close matchup overall (though a couple individual fights not so much) |

I'm in shock Amanda won for you!
It's been so long since I've fought any of your warriors other than Sebastian that I have no idea how good they are nor do I have any other scouting info on them other than their styles. |

All I can say is be very afraid of Amanda... I had to do something with all of my old prizes before I went inactive a few years ago... |

For the LHI/Manager fights we are lobbying for a new set of rules for that tussle, and that one alone ...
1. If one team does not go 4-1 or 5-0, both are eliminated and completely out of the contest.
2. If any warrior is killed, it is eliminated, and that team is done and eliminated from the competition
3. If any warrior does not learn a skill or a stat, it is eliminated, and that team is then also eliminated from the competition.
That should do it! |

....and a realistic prediction it is! LOL
After looking at the matchups we're going to have, I'm thinking I have a decent shot at 3-2, but that could also be 2-3 in the blink of an eye! Regardless, it will be fun to read and I'm enjoying the tournament so far in spite of the losses. |

In all seriousness I am surprised by my results in round 2. I was expecting a 2-3 split... But the one we got was not the one I expected. In any case I am happy to have a shot at Manager's guys.
Maybe my guys are better than I remember. I only stopped running them because they couldn't beat the ABs. |
