it appears grape jelly will have his hands full with BF's for the next few turns.
Damn, after reading the first 2 minutes of that fight, I thought I had you for sure! Nice comeback. I intend to make things as difficult as possible for you, so don't expect any easy BF wins!

editted to add...

Next, the bloodfeuds:
GRAPE JELLY (81-1482) (1-0-0,11) of BUBBA'S 23RD ARMY bloodfeuded PETRONIUS (81-1434) (2-2-1,10) of WARMASTERS. Down 1. GRAPE JELLY won victory over PETRONIUS in a 3 minute beginner's Bloodfeud duel. This appears to be the only living member of Bubba's Army, but at least he (or she or it) is victorious in this bloodfeud, and against the odds.
AHAhahaha
Hahaha
hah
a little funny...

what's funny is i was so pissed about ninja gurp's death that i balled up the fight and his overview and threw it all away in a tissy. a few days later when i was issuing my challenges i realized i saved no data from the fight! DOH! so i was running completely blind - i don't think i even remembered the style. i'm brilliant. guess it worked out.

Another squeaking 3-2 for the lucky Cartel.
1-0 on a BF against ( but on a 90 pt upchallenge, we should have been favored.)
I was going to DA Anger Mouse and thought I would give him one last chance to redeem himself with the added hope that you would be preparing for a BF from Mice&Dice. Oh well, one more dead rat next turn...but the sewer has plenty more.

Well, maybe we will be prepared for M&D this time?

5-0, Current top Team, most avoided.
Was 3-0 using "if challenged" strats.
1-0 on my own challenge and 1-0 on random matchups!
Wish I had the fights to peruse but happy is an understatement. Unbelievably I think this is my first 5-0 here.

2-3-1 on my happy return. No too bad. All of my losses came at big FE disadvantages so I hope I got good learns. Got my second kill here. That corporate team. Looking forward to a blood feud where the FE isn't 20 something to 1. I can't wait till Monday now!

And maybe I'll remember to send my turns in on time.

reading the fight...
not seeing where the first 2 minutes went to your guy... lol
looks like me chipping away at your guy for 3 minutes finally ending it with a crit. and considering i didn't start to breathe heavy until well into minute 3, endurance wasn't in play. good fight though. either way, it's avenged.
you did teach rather well though................

3-2-0. Still no fights for me. I'm hoping I don't have to send them in blind again this turn. I don't know how LP and Grimm do it on a regular basis--it drives me nuts!
Fan Zhen got his shot at the throne, but it wasn't meant to be. Kid Charlemagne continues to dominate--I guess you get a little over-achieving when you get sent to the DA twice and comeback! Congrats to Bill and the Kid for the 3rd turn in a row. It at least went a few minutes and doesn't appear to be a one-sided affair according to the fight report.
I survived the first round of BF from the Guild. I know Jager's style, and Marco Polo continues to exceed expectations and skill levels.
Owlsly got me by surprise with a challenge from below--didn't even think to avoid him. Knowing the style of his warrior, there isn't much I would have probably changed--so surprise or no, the outcome would most likely have been the same--a loss for me.
I tagged Gutter Ball with a loss. I think I still owe him one though, but I may be confusing him with Limp In.
And my new guy won his second fight. I don't get attached to these guys easily in this arena, so he still has a few more fights to go before I start even taking him seriously.

Nice turn, congrats.
Nothing in mail for me, 3-2 according to online newsletter. 3-1 in four random match-ups and I won the one challenge I received.
MICE AND DICE was subdued by NARYAK in a exciting 1 minute conflict??? Bit of a shocker considering he couldn't beat him during bloodfued just 6 turns ago.

FYI, we almost always send them in blind right away after the electronic is posted. (We, too, have not received fights.)
Gutter Ball sends his hugs and kisses. (Read - hate and death thoughts)

A modest prediction: I'm hoping for a 2-3-0-1, with ol' Chingachgook headed for the DA.
His rollup: 18 - 10 - 9 - 4 - 10 - 10 - 9. I started him as a burner, 18-10-9-10-16-10-11, Slasher. He was just too slow and rarely got the initiative, and he wasn't learning well. I saw no future for him and at 2-9 I probably gave him more than enough rope with which to hang himself. I retrospect, I should have made him a Wall of Steel or Basher.
Of course after I post his stats, Chingachgook kills Black Orc in the Dark Arena. Last of the Mohicans indeed ... lol
Having never won in the DA before (and I've tried with an immortal graduate before), I'm not sure how I can possibly NOT keep him around. There's a tale for the telling ...
The rest of the stable was a disappointing 1-3. Though I did finish 2-3 as predicted.
