Not if I see you guys first! And by that I mean I'll be reading the fight results in the newsletter about you two fighting in round 15...
So for the hell of it I ran a 21-5-7-11-17-8-15 TP in rookies. 10-10-6 S vs. all but other tp's. If I can just go around 4-3 or 5-3 and take out a few AB's or ST's... that's sooo worth $7. |

With the tweaks to classifications ADM is certainly up for grabs.
I think Daydream Believer would be in the group of potentials, a long with my breakout lunger FGC, who is fairly knacky. |
Daydream Believer was promoted to Eligibles. I chose not to fight him because the odds of him training anything were slim to none. I am sending him to Primus at the split.

In eligibles I would not be shocked to see one of Mannequin's ABs or Le Penta's Small Cat in the running here. |
All of my AB's were bumped to Contenders. I only entered two warriors in Eligibles, Snotman (SL) and Three Blind Weiss (WS). I like your pick for Le Pentarque's Small Cat if he didn't get bumped up.

Freshmen to me it is all who ran into AB's for the scum. The scum at this level are so strong they can handle slowed warriors; therefore, I am going to suggest whatever scum avoided the AB's the best shot at holding on to win. I do not think this will be a heavy AB class though. Due to learning patterns, I think it does not take much for AB's to crack the barrier to move into the ADM classification. |
I will be surprised if even one AB earns a TV in this class. I don't think there can be many good ones with the right skills to do well and still be classified a Freshmen. |

I have one, but he's an oddity (gee what a surprise, me running an oddball warrior) and I need to figure out the right strategy for him in this class. |

So what do you think are the right skills for AB's to do well here in this class? I'm not sure I've ever fought a 25 ST/CN/WL uber scum before. But I do have a 33 ATT, Good Endurance Fist-Fave Freshman AB that I think should do OK against them. I was more worried about the Strikers for him than the TP's. |

Attack and defense and as little of anything else as possible.
My crappy AB in Freshmen this time is mode. 32 attack and a whopping 17 defense. Natural terrible favs. |

I am curious how my BA and awesome damage AB do in Freshman. Both have gone 5-3 before under the old criteria. |

Storm I would not want to use fist versus these TP's at this level. You would not be able to do enough damage compared to the damage taken from parries at this level.
SC would be likely the best fav.
My scum has scummed down ABs in mid ranks of 100, now that is not a clear picture of Freshmen. I think you need an AB, like LHI said, learns attack and defense and nothing else. Attack that tends not to be an issue; however, I find AB's like to learn rip too much (and often init or parry). Decise is not really a problem.
Maybe that size 3, 7 wit AB I posted earlier with the 21 WL 21 DF may be of value if he learns Defense. The low init skills and poor decise skills may keep his classification low. Mind you he will never graduate from 84. |

Thanks Grimm, but no I wasn't planning on using fist against scum. I've had TP's that have parried out AB's before and vice versa, and I know he's not good enough to try that now. But thanks for looking out
He actually uses the SC pretty well anyways, so that's what I went with. Here's to getting some good match ups!
So what class do you have any hopefuls in? |

Well for me I have a few,
FGC went Breakout in ADM, he did very well in hs first ADM tourny, not very good in his second. He is busting wit and then will if he goes long enough.
Super TP scum in Freshmen is alright. Doesn't have uber FE yet, but is 25 25 x x 25 x x.
Maybe an interesting guy is my 10-3 dead champ who is back in the Champs at 30 FE, Heart Condition. I have 2 other offensive TPs who are well skilled and timed for this class, Ko'd Kangaroo and Cruddler.
And finally my fleets of Rooks and Apprentices should provide some good reading.
Do I have a good good chance, meh. I tried my best to rebuild my pipeline and to get a few styles in classes where they have a better chance. |
