I'm stoked! I've been back playing for about 15 months now, and just managed to get my first ever Duelmaster.  I would feel even better about it had the previous DM actually fought to defend his title, but I'll take the crown either way.
I guess now I actually have to write something for the newsletter...  |

CONGRATS!
Old Oremaster was holding off reading the arena newsletter, when he saw this. Apparently HE did not get the DM. He doesn't deserve it; you do.

Always glad to help get someone their first DM crown. I had to sit Hydro as he'd just hit a breakpoint and felt he has an outside shot to TV.
Grats on the throne again... Hopefully you get to defend it a few times!! |

Pffft! Sunset. The current crop of challenger champs in Lapur is FAR better than the challenger chumps in Sunset; there's no comparison. Becoming duelmaster in Lapur is a much bigger and better accomplishment than in Sunset. Congrats Daemonspawn! |

Thanks to all for the congrats.
Floyd, I kinda suspected that Hydroponicus was sitting out for the FTF. I'm still kicking around the numbers deciding whether or not I can/should go. If I do, Gilean will be sitting out after the coming turn for his last shot at a basic tourney at the FTF.
Scruffy Puff, I have no idea the quality of the challenger champs in Sunset, as I have yet to get anyone up there. Then again, the quality of warrior I have in Sunset is not really as good as those in Lapur, so it's not really any wonder that I haven't managed that. |

Daemonspawn- Congrats on the achievement.
Scruffy Puff and Stik- I think it is hard for any of us with out a team in both arenas where they have fought in the current Champions ranks at this time could honestly compare the two accuratly. I am fairly confedent in assuming (and we all know what happens when one ASS-U-MEs) that both arenas fluxuates in it's caliber of warriors at all levels. What may be on turn 600 may not be on turn 605 or 610 (just an example). |

Sorry I'm a bit late but congrats on your first duelmaster!!! Well done Laddie!!!
On a side not sorry I missed the turn as I was in Chicago throwing darts this last turn and in the rush to catch the plane after work I forgot to mail in my turns. I should be around the next round for Blunt Forces to take their shots.  |
