Ack can you believe it, I sit with the ultimate loser in meerkat and the dude finally dies, terrible. I am sitting in a pub awaiting Monday night football, so I don't have all his stats with me, but he was 9 9 8 17 15 3 21 if I remember right. Worst luck factor I have ever seen. -4 att and -2 def, he learned at thR excruciating pace of 0.76 skills per fight.
The guy has killed my win loss record, ah well. Win some lose some. As a funny aside I killed 3 guys in 84 this turn, classic. In the last bit my OTPs have been butchering dudes.
As for rest of 81 I will regroup, I will start to focus on wins vs losses now. Losing my pathetic PL kinda ruins my run at the all styles.
I will write some personals next turn, sorry. I will also be back in arena 11. Consort Caniliv is sitting for challengers run in January. Peace.

I missed my turn. My next round of challenges and avoids will probably offend someone. Unavoidable, but deplorable.

First, I wonder if anyone would be interested in running a contest, sort of. What team would want to run their next guy until he dies -- no Dark Arena? We can DA current fighters at the same turn, then just deal with the replacement as best we can, and see who can graduate that fighter first. (Oh, good name: The Replacement Killers Contest!) Of course, if it dies prematurely due to regular play, its successor must also be run NO MATTER WHAT until the contest is over.
Since my win/loss is not great, the thought of a steady losing streak with something terrible out on the sands doesn't bother me all that much. I guess I could figure out another way to instigate its death and move on from there with its stand-in....
Second, congratulations to Pauly for getting married! Sorry I didn't add anything earlier; I haven't been paying a lot of attention to the game lately... I offer you this toast:
With 27 years of experience, I can promise you that marriage is not always easy, but the benefits are incomparable; its value to you as a human being is incalculable! Despite the current trend in our culture to bash marriage, fidelity, and commitment, these ingredients offer the best way to get the most out of this brief, tempestuous life. Your future highs and lows will reach dizzying and terrifying extremes beyond anything you could have experienced by yourself. Marriage will stretch you, mature you, change you... and your spouse. Although the effort it takes to commit to each other fully is extraordinary, it is worth every iota of energy, every breath you take. Though arguments are probably inevitable and always painful, if the two of you work through them you will find that the aftermath will make you both wiser and your marriage stronger. Revel in your bride and your relationship, and try hard to never take either for granted, nor allow them to fall into mere habit or mundane duty. Rejoice!
Ah, that said... Third, what is this about Agent leaving? Consortium is leaving? I'm confused. Who will praise my praise-worthy writing?
Fourth, we don't do Tourneys of the Dead in Shadowspire, do we? I don't think we do... sorry, Hippo.

First - We all pretty much agreed early on that Shadowspire is not an arena for contests.
Four - No Dead Tourney. If you want to fight a dead warrior from a team in Shadowspire you might as well move the team to another arena before fighting in the tourney and start a new team in Shadowspire.
Why? because if you get the warrior back you are going to have to move the team anyway.

Ugh, 1-4. Thats what I get for running on maintenance though. I am only running in 81 and I still can't get it done in time! I am finding myself really loving Hyborian War also though, it is a change of pace for me that I find very nice. I won't ever leave Duel, but I am having loads of fun over there.
That said, I will be in 81 for the long haul and am sad to see you go Consortium. That stinks! We need as many people as we can get in 81 to make it the premier arena still.

1-4 for me. Sent 2 to the DA. I still don't have my turn. If this continues, I'm going to have to drop 81. I'm pushing it trying to keep on track now, and slow mail service only makes it harder.

Well, four times over, when you quote the WHOLE thing again!!
I apologize to everyone. My Mac was "hung up" or something. It took forever to get to the next screen. I might have hit the button a couple of times in frustration... sorry.

The Monster Manual took a positive 3-2 and got an invite. Pit Fiend will be taking the ferry to the Isle of the Eye. I honestly did not think the big demon would survive, but his invite marks my first Striker graduation...not just in 81, but ever. It is also my final style to get invited to the isle which completes the 10. WHEW!
For those that want to know, Pit Fiend is:
9-10-18-21-9-10-7 ST He mostly used SS, but tried DA,SC, and even tried a Maul once...once.
I have been wanting to see his FAVs for a long time and they ended up to be:
Longsword HI/LO can use DEC well and learns INIT, this pleases me. I thought I would retire him, but I may just send him to 106.

Fuzzy Bunnies makes a return and, with the help of exceptionally lucky and lopsided matchups, gets their first (IIRC) 5-0-0 turn. I'm sure they'll return to their usual losing ways soon, but the squad is finally starting to look decent.

Actually, it was probably not your Mac. It was your reaction to site difficulties. When the site does not function properly (seems to be a periodic thing) the "submit" is VERY slow and seems not to take at all; hence we often rehit (or rehit, rehit) submit and get dupes. You were not the only one caugt in the "issue"

Consortium, the arena is going to miss you.
As for the turn, not bad, but not great. 3-2. Even Ziggy got a win.
Grimm's loss of the meerkat has got to stink. An underperformer, obviously, but I hate to see someone lose a warrior they put that much time into. Better luck next time.

Sorry 'bout Meerkat. As I've stated before, I'm not much of a killer and most, if not all, my kills come against NPCs and DA monsters. But Big Bones Billie is big and hits hard. She will be around for the bloodfeud(s). Hope the replacement was alright.
