3-2 for Of Wolf and Man
Still haven't had time to get changes of strats in or challenges lol. Crazy lately. I was selected to coach the mid florida all star football squad (like a pro-bowl). I was also tabbed to coach a spring tackle all start team but not sure I am going to have time.
Anyway, my guys are starting to get up there! I have a PL and PS within striking distance of graduation! And a ST on the way that is starting to look better. That would leave me with only a SL left in the round robin. But I probably just jinxed myself and they will all die lol

Good luck on both the coaching and your round robin

Hey Grimm, now that my ch. initiate is more skilled than your horrible ch. champ and I cant learn any more from him, stop bloodfeuding me from that high up, or I will be forced to change my strat and beat you. And where are the Ottos and Bubbaga-whatevers to yell at you for posting that much of a downchallenge BF?? Hypocrites...
Quite a few mainstays didnt fight this turn, hope it's not a sign of things to come...

Lol Hombre I didn't know that was you. Too funny. I would never do that to you. Mind you you did kill my slightly above average AB (hehe, actually he was no big loss).
In fact Angeroo is quite skilled, and not as bad as you may think. The only thing is versus that WS I just go yuck mode.
I sent in my stuff early, as mail service from Canada is slow and it may not make it anyway. He may have BF'd again, but I can't remember. Just nothing else to challenge up there. Well I think he wanted that striker that sat out.
Anyway, good turn for me. 4-0, asd my replacement did not fight for some reason. He will be there next turn.

I realize that most of you don't care, but I just wanted to take a moment to vent. I have never been so frustrated as I have been recently with my current stable of warriors. On paper, Victor & Maxentius should be awesome. Their stats are great and in the right spots and they are both learning at over 2 skills a turn. Despite that, they are 18-19-1 & 9-8-0 respectively. <sigh> I honestly thought Victor would likely be the best warrior I'd ever have in 81 (thus the name), but thus far has been a complete disappointment. He is only a couple of skills short of having 4 Master ratings. How the heck is he not better than 18-19-1??? Can knack (or lack there of) play that huge a role in a warriors performance? He seems WAY better than Lutherius was, whom I graduated at 18-7-3.
In addition, I just lost Hadrian this turn who was a 15-15-6-15-15-6-15 WOS. I thought he might develop into a great warrior one day. I also lost Flaccus to the DA as he was a chronic underachiever who wasn't learning well. I finally lost patience with him and DA'd him despite having 28 FE and being a style needed to complete my round robin.
Anyways, sorry to whine and cry. I just needed to vent a bit. I guess I kind of feel better. Now I just hope I can turn this group of talented under-achievers around and get back to my old winning ways!
Happy Holidays everybody!
Jeff (aka Vanek)

Vanek, I would say I have thought Victor has showed some notible skill in some fights. I would say hard to judge on the striker.
Stick with them, they will both bounce back. 81 is such a painful arena. If you run anti-scum, then you have issues vs offensives. If you run anti-offensive, then you are vulnerable to others. Speaking of which, did you see what has heppened to Big Bones Billie since I put some losses on him from my bloodfued. He went from CC's, to struggling Adept/Challenger adept.
Hombre, I think Nick has looked pretty good. I have a new WS, who has huge potential, but potential is deceiving.

Grimm,
While quite a few of our past interactions have been far from positive, I do appreciate your most recent comments and encouragement.

Pretty much sums up my 81 experience too! Guys with good numbers just not performing.
And not to heap more fire onto the wounds, but Gwennolay has 0 experts in anything. But I think I found her favorite rhythm and weapon if that is any condolence!

Vanek, don't sweat it. It's to be expected in an arena with such tough competition. Besides the TPs, not a lot of warriors have stellar records because every fight they have is against someone else with good numbers run by someone who also knows what they're doing. The three non-TPs on my team all have 21 Wit, and a combined record of 12-16-1.
