http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WbN0nX61rIs&ob=av2e - florence and the machine 'shake it out'
and an oldie and a goodie
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=acL7a5xRNag - yello 'Si Senor the Hairy Grill' |

Yeah I was a big Smiths fan in high school ... they do a great live show.
I enjoyed both Florence and Yello ...
Florence reminded me of Lana Del Ray ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u89_AiQu9BQ&feature=related ) ... who is pretty darn good ( she sucked an egg on SNL a couple weeks ago tho ) ... Lana is my wife's new favorite so I will be sure to pass Florence + the machine to her |

listened to all of yours - few comments
have heard Vehicle numerous times - never knew the band/song name
Buraka - need some alcohol, glow sticks and a bunch of club kids around - I was too sober for this one
This song breaks my heart - wish it was about 30 seconds longer - why of why did the awesome guitar part have to be at the end and then faded out? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKppSotWL3o - Blues Image 'Ride Captain Ride' |

Love ride captain ride ... never knew who sang it ...
As for Buraka Som Sistema ... I hear ya .. they are from a north african neighborhood in Lisbon Portugal ..all the songs are in Portugese and I honestly have no idea what they are saying ... But .. Their live shows are fun events where everyone was dancing .. I didnt see one glow stick ..Honest!!!
My musical tastes bounce all over ... just to much good stuff out there. |

Makes me want to break out Sisters of Mercy, PiL (Steve Vai days), Killing Joke,or some Front 242! I never truly got Fugazi but had plenty of friends into them so I did listen to them alot. It was tough around Detroit Punks and Metalheads were opposition to each other and fought alot. I've talked to people who said where they lived, in the 80s, Punks and Metalheads got along quite well. I usually got along with most of the Punks in school however!
How about the Suicidal Tendencies offshoot band Infectious Grooves?!

Same song but the previous was the version on their Demo CD for the Record Labels and the next is off their first release.

Infectious Grooves- Do the Sinister

Can't leave out their awesome cover of Bowie's Fame!
