Really? I didn't see one warrior change and I have guys sitting exactly on the line above and below. |

I had 8 go from ADM to Freshman, I haven't had that many move in last 3 years combined. Four are under 50FE and skills between 140-155, the other 4 had over 50FE and had skills ranging from 134 to 162 skills. |

I had 1 warrior drop from ADM to Freshman, so I do believe they raised the line slightly.
I had set up a ST with 136 skills and 4 trains for a Freshman bust-out a year or more ago and he inadvertently landed in ADM. So I left him inactive and he turned up Freshman this tourney. |

None of my warriors changed class.
Highest Freshman still has 142 skills

The minis that were sent out with DM-100 mid-February and were emailed last month to many managers had incorrect Freshman classifications.
The Visionist has the correct version, it sounds like, and the Freshman line did indeed go up a ton.
If you are working off minis from last month, you might wish to request new ones from RSI (I suspect new ones will also be coming with the next ADM turns).
This has no effect on any class but Freshman, so don't panic! |

Just curious.... was there confirmation last night or today from Sandy/Lee saying that the newer/newest mini's were the correct ones and to disregard the older/original ones?
Thanks |

I called and spoke with Sandy and that is the impression that she left me with. |

Yeah, I figured you got the "correct" minis because of your comment about the Freshman line going up a ton. We should have believed you!
Many people got bad minis with the first batch, it seems, and are now shocked to learn that all these guys who were ADM on the first batch are now Freshman on the second batch.
At least nobody can call Freshman boring! |

From what I can see, on the "newer" version of the mini's, any warrior that was eligible to transfer to Home Guard is now considered as a Freshmen for tourney purposes.
In the newer version of the mini-overviews, all my Home GUard warriors have Freshmen tourney next to their name, except for the 2 that are being forced to move out after the split. |

There has been some discussion on the chat site regarding whether a warrior had to be perfectly natural/unmodified in order to be cloned. Some people believed that certain prizes were ok, others believed that you could clone a clone, whereas others believed that unmodified meant unmodified, plain and simple.
I posed this question to Lee via email and received the following response:
"No modified warriors can be cloned. This includes warriors created by
a prize (DYO, clone, etc.) and also bloodgames warriors."
That seems pretty clear. Thanks, Lee! |

What is the exact due date that the tourney needs to be in? |

One week until the tourney!
My tourney crew is set and their strategies should be sitting at the RSI secret underground production facility.
30 warriors entered.
Class breakdown:
1 Primus
1 Contender
3 Eligibles
2 ADM
3 Freshmen
3 Challengers
1 Champion
2 Adepts
2 Initiates
3 Apprentices
9 Rookies
Style breakdown:
6 ST
5 AB
5 SL
4 LU
3 BA
2 TP
2 PS
1 PR
1 WS
1 PL
I predict that the Freshman tourney will be insane. Bigger than any Freshman class in recent years, and completely unpredictable. Many retired warriors dropped down from ADM to Freshman and I expect a number of those will be training/learning over the line as they try for one last hurrah. Add to that any late graduates/traditional bust-outs that were prepared to beat the old Freshman line and you have yourself a wild tourney. I wouldn't even count out the old Freshman sandbagger scum TPs, either, as many of these new entries are unlikely to have the physicals to deal with them.
I don't think I sacrificed much in the way of quality by running only 30 warriors. Most of my cuts came either in the form of developing ADM, Freshman, and Challenger warriors who had not yet shown themselves to be TV quality, or in the form of young warriors in Initiates through Rookies, who will simply wait for the summer FtF to take their shots (and I believe the lowest ranks are among the hardest to TC, because the ease of preparation leads to much higher volume).
My best warrior is probably "the warrior formerly known as Prisoner 1371", a two-time runner-up and four-time TV in Challengers. Challengers is renowned for its deep well of great warriors, however, so any TC in that class is going to be an uphill battle. Still, I try to run at least one excellent warrior in every class so that I can preserve the illusion that I might TC in any of them (from Contenders to Rookies, anyway). That illusion will inevitably come crashing into the reality of my tourney results, but not for another two weeks!
Don't forget to get those tourneys strategies in, and good luck starting your very own clone army. |

I entered 20 this time. Im not sure how many of each class though, just very anxious as this is the first tourney I have sent warriors to in 8 years. |
