I sent in about 25, mostly rookies. 8 or so of them are my arena guys that were timed somewhat well. I'm pretty excited about the rookies, not because I'm expecting tc's or a bunch of tv's, but mostly because this is my first time to try setting up a group of guys for tourney-only.

Well I wound up sending in 7 only, and at the last minute. Tight finances this spring...two guys from 21, one rookie, and the other five are inits/adepts, mostly plungers, rippers, and slashers, since I am still struggling to land a TV with any of those styles.
Best of luck to all, particularly my brothers in arms in Sunset!

50 Total making this a very large tourney for me. I was suprised it was exactly 50. I just went through my roster and added the good stuff and some of the stuff that seemed like they TV'd for no reason whatsoever and I considered them a fluke so haven't run them in awhile. I ran those too lol. Should be interesting.

I didn't get a selection sheet for Darkholm, and so I requested it... and noticed at the 11th hour that one of my ADM guys did drop back down to Freshmen, so I sent him in to the tourney. He had been a Freshman for about a year, and I was holding him at 131 skills and WT/WL raised from 17 to 20. This last F2F he went ADM, so I figured aw, crap, there goes my bust-out. So I started training skills again, in the hopes of doing something in ADM someday. I was pretty surprised when he went back to Freshmen, about 25-30 skills later. Maybe I can still do the freshmen bust-out next tourney.

The tourney has run. Our fates are sealed (or will be soon, in big white envelopes).
Of my 30 sent, I have 6 warriors in separate classes who are my greatest hopes for TVs or TCs.
Gringold (Contenders) - This four time Contenders TV is a perpetual hope for me, that he'll someday be able to sneak through the gauntlet of ABs and steal all the glory. Unfortunately, he is fresh off the heels of a 4-3 performance in the winter FtF. Has the Contenders field passed him by or was it just a bad tourney?
Bilge Rat (Eligibles) - Hopefully his Fool's ADM TV from last spring is not indicative of his future performance. This former LU bust-out picked up a number of Primus skills in the three turns preceding the tourney, including 4 Attack and 3 Defense. He'll be working on 4th trains in WL and WT during the first 9 rounds and easy CN trains in rounds 10+. On average, I'd expect him to pick up 9 skills during the tourney, but he could luck into 13 extra skills instead (putting him 20-25 skills over the Eligibles line). Will this be enough to allow him to hit the really good Fist ABs?
Jetsam (ADM) - He is an ordinary 21 WL/21 DF AB similar to the two that I've run in the past two FtFs (but not with identical starting numbers, like the last two). No prizes, bad favorites, just your average guy, if your average guy were the best style in the game with two bust-able stats and 100+ FE. His fatal flaw? He isn't a Frankenstein or a two-time TC, which are among his competition.
Iron Shackle (Challengers) - "The artist formerly known as Prisoner 1371", as he likes to be called. He has two Challengers runner-ups at the past two FtFs, along with two other Challengers TVs. He seems knacky, but also seems to like FtFs slightly better than mail-ins, for no apparent reason. Challengers is such a tough field, though, with fifty warriors within five skills of each other. On any given day, any of them can probably win.
Caleam Chowder (Adepts) - This guy is quite possibly the best tournament BA that I've ever had. He is a former 12-3 Apprentices TV, has learned 19 Dec in 20 FE, has great physicals and bonuses, and is entering the tourney with AdEx+ Ini, Master+ Att, and Master+ Dec. Still, I have to temper my excitement, because he is after all just a BA.
Nianian Frittata (Apprentices) - This promising young lady is rolling into the Apprentices with 12 Ini, 12 Att, and 20 Dec. She is smart (21 WT) and capable (of wielding a Battle Axe). She only has to get through 284 other Apprentices...
Best of luck in both the tournament and in surviving the week-long wait!

Things to do while killing time waiting for the tournament to arrive in the mail:
-Thinking about the tournament.
-Try not to think about the tournament.
-Stalk chatzy and the forum.
-Play video games.
-Work really hard, more.
-Gardening, it's Spring for God's sake!
-Read an epic fantasy novel.
-File
-Paper recycle
-Movie
-Emotionally prepare yourself for a disappointing tournament.
-Have delusions of grand-MASTERS and TCs and early tournament arrivals.
-Slap your delusions away, and try to emotionally prepare yourself for a mediocre tournament.
-Just sleep (it worked for x-mas eve).
-Plot and plan
-Be active in your arenas.
-Think.
-Don't think.
