9-11-8-9-10-9-14
If you want AB, I might drop the 2 pts. from STR and put them in WIT, not that great.
If I had to run it, 11-17-8-9-16-9-14 TP and burn it crispy. |

I wouldn't run it as a SL either, but that personal preference. Arena make up would determine if I kept this warrior or not. If was a toss up either way, then DA would win out with me personally nudging the scales in that direction. |

That isn't a bad thing. It helps you work out your own design theory. Plus, you gotta run (or DA) however you feel will give you the most enjoyment out of the game. |

If I were to run this I would probably consider:
11-11-8-15-15-9-15 TP/PR/PS/WS and hope it rolled well and/or over preformed but I would keep him on a short leash with my finger on the trigger his whole basic carrier |

Sure a TP is doable, and we believe Darque hit it on the head -
11-17-8-9-16-9-14 - will burn nicely
Other than a TP, and not an aimer ...
15-11-8-15-10-10-15 ST will play well at DM or the poker table. |

11-11-8-15-15-9-15 --- Gotta agree with this, though I believe this design could have an overall winning average (60% + ) in basic. I wouldn't be likely to DA this fighter unless he came across a terrible losing streak. I like SL, TP, or WoS, and would definitely bump ALL stats by 2 on a rotating schedule (stats vs learning).
Not too shabby, really. Not an Aimed Blow stylist, but not terrible. |

This guy would definitely be better with the 15 WT. Unfortunately it just doesn't have anything special going for it. I like to desisn to extremes. For this reason I like Darque's burner design the best but for me he would fight in the DA.
Good luck with whatever your decision is. |

An alternate TP design would be:
9-17-8-9-16-9-16
Burn it. After you finish burning you'll be surprised at how well your 9 (or 11) WT TP learns parry.

Here is a TP that I followed up that is very similar to yours. You can see how well it is doing in a (at the time) very competitive arena. Frankly yours would probably be a little better because of the higher DF.
[8-1-0,89,11FE], will fight Adepts.
He is a total parry with ST=9 CN=17 SZ=9 WT=9 WL=17(1) SP=9 DF=15.
He is right handed, has a good endurance, can take tremendous amounts of damage, can not
carry a lot of weight, is quick on his feet, and has an Advanced Expert in parry.

Maybe 9-11-8-11-16-9-20 TP burn to 9-11-8-13-17-9-21. |

9-11-8-9-10-9-14-----> 9-11-8-15-15-9-17 AB
My personal belief is that I learned ALOT from running sub-par warriors (or what most tourney managers would call sub-par). I would run it with some armor (minimum APL/H, up to ACM/H, it's like having a few more Hit Points) give it a SC or SS (light armor only for SS) (DA against 8-12 armor, Scale). You could go like a ST (even with Decisiveness tactic) or like a LU (open and hot or dodge or riposte) and let that decide your armor level (ACM when like a defensive LU, APL or ALE like a ST). This, above, design starts with 8 DEC 11 ATT (pretty good for a ST), 8 DEF and 5 PAR (pretty good for a defensive), can take some damage, has some endurance, and damage for an AB is not your biggest concern.
Play around with some not so good warriors and use some weird (but not outrageouslly weird) strats if using normal strategies does not work. I find it hard to play with numbers on strats with good or great warriors (don't mess with a winning combo right?!) but easier to experiment if a warrior is not winning ( this doesn't work let me try something and see if it works; theory).
You may stumble upon something that works. If we all run godlings, while inexperienced, we will NEVER learn how to win with anything but godlings!
END OF THIS NOVEL!!! (For now ) |
