As per One Armed Bandit:
Quote:
As for why you would continue, there is a contest in the Primus arena that occurs every two years called the King of Primus. Managers field 5 warriors of 5 different styles and battle it out in swiss format to see who is best. It is the most fun contest ever and definitely worth reactivating a maxed PS for a few months every two years, at the very least.
At this time I only have 4 warriors in Primus:
Baron Cockroach - Parry Strike
Land Shark - Striker
Touchstone - Parry Lunge
The Wyvern - Lunger
So if you know of anyone that purchased a Doc LeGrand warrior, I may be interersted in buying one back to be ready for a King of Primus tournament. I will send a letter to RSI asking for a listing of inactive warriors in Primus to see which are mine, and then perhaps I can find a way to contact the current owners of these warriors.
In case you are thinking about Gypsy Moth, I already have a Parry Lunge in Touchstone. In case of the Couatl, I already have a Striker in Land Shark.

Also... for the very first time at this past FTF the girls at RSI also implemented a "stylemaster prize" in the Primus tournament only. The prize was a +1 bonus potion to a skill of your choice (application must keep the warrior in bounds), and prizes were awarded to the stylemasters of the 9 styles that didn't TC in the Primus tournament. This bonus potion could only be used on warriors of the same style as the stylemaster it was awarded to, and this prize could only be applied to a warrior in DM102.
This is yet another reason to run non AB/LU's in DM102 and the Primus tournament.

I am the person that wrote the Doc LeGrand persona in the 1980s and 1990s. I will now be writing from the persona of my grandchildren.
I was also the human spymaster Kristana in Free Blades during the 1990s.
My reference to Doc LeGrand warriors are to warriors that were on my teams, not warriors based on my designs.

Wow! Cool. I didn't think you were buying all of the LeGrand strikers. You would probably go broke. I saw a lot of them after your article was published in the newsletter.
