I received my tourney results on Monday and have been reading and reviewing them. I have to give it to the Consortium. I am learning to hate aimed blows. Not really. But I came across twenty-one of the damned things!I didn't send that many guys either.
The odd part is that I didn't run into them in the advanced tourney. They were all in basic. Do people bother making any of the other styles?!?
How did you guys fair?

A lot of times, and correct me if Im wrong, managers will hold their warriors that are ready for busting out for tourneys with a better prize. Not that a DYO prize isnt nice, but those who already have their little godlings will be holding out for prizes such as faves, resurrection, or Immortality potions? So as silly as it may sound, the best prizes arent always the most sought after, seeing that ensuring those godlings make it to graduation alive is more important. That is probably why you didnt run into many aimers this time in the latter stages.

What a nightmare. Allow me to clarify:
1) Someone pumps Wayne's Ego by saying he's right!
2) He may actually be right!!
3) Aimers will destroy tourneys. Mostly because they dominate top end so the best RUs are being used on them at creation, the ADM Aimers win prizes in most classes, then prizes are used on the young ABs to help them win early and graduate quickly. I already was beyond interest in tourneys and the aimer top end issue has now filtered down to all tourney levels. As long as I can still have basic not be a bunch of "SUPER ABs" running around I can probably still play!!!

The sad thing is that I like Aimers. They are a fun style with unique challenges. But it does get overwhelming. There must be a reason why I run more pikers than anything else.

I'm a Lions fan since 1977, when I was 6, do you truly want my opinion on that? At least your not the "AINTS" anymore!
