I finished watching all five seasons of Babylon 5 last weekend. It still holds up after two decades.

If you haven't watched it, give it a try.

Anyone know any good Science fiction or fantasy shows?

Hard to find good ones but these are my faves in no particular order:

1. Farscape
2. Battle Star Galactica
3. Dr. Who
4. Once Upon a Time
5. Cowboy Bebop
6. Full Metal Alchemist
7. Samurai Champloo
8. Trinity Blood (loved this concept of Vatican vs. Vampires but it only lasted about 26 episodes)
9. Smallville (up to about season 5)

You may not be into animation like I am, but the plots are awesome nonetheless.

In the order that I liked them..

#1 - Farscape - LOVED that show
#2 - Firefly - One of the greatest (albeit shortest) series ever
#3 - Stargage SG-1
#4 - Battle Star Galactica
#5 - Babylon 5
#6 - The X Files
#7 - The 4400 (A GREAT series that ended before it ENDED which SUCKED!)
#8 - Lexx (you either love it or hate it)
#9 - Star Trek Next Generation (The best IMHO of all of the Star Treks)
#10 - Eureka

The Tin Man miniseries which came out a couple of years ago was pretty good.

The last 2-3 seasons of Deep Space Nine were, to me, the coolest Star Trek. Tons of action and good stories. Though they ended the series rather lamely.

Don't forget the B5 movies, and also the attempted spinoff series Crusade, which was not bad.

Another suggestion would be Goremeghast (spelling) another mini series that was very good. The book is hard to read, though.

I can think of more.

1. Eureka - Sucks that this got canceled and they still have Warehouse 13 on.
2. Star Trek DS9 - Watching this on netflix now, almost to the end. Just above NG for me. And light years above Voyager and Enterprise.
3. Battlestar Galactica - Did not watch it when it was initially on TV, started watching it on Netflix and was done with it in about a week. Way better than I thought is was going to be
4. Red Dwarf - My daughter has started watching this with me, was up to season 6 but started over for her. Which I don't mind at all.
5. Doctor Who - All of the new Doctors have been great, but Tom Baker still #1
6. Stargate Universe - Loved this show, of course cut short because it was actually good.
7. Star Trek NG
8. X Files

Others
Farscape - have not seen it in a long time but it was a great show.
Lexx - have it saved to start watching as soon as I wrap up a couple other series.
Firefly - Didn't catch me on fire when it was on TV. Caught a couple on the science channel and may watch the whole series soon. Movie was ok.
Original Battlestar Galactica - Still like watching it.

Will watch if on
Stargate SG-1
ST Voyager
ST Enterprise

Will have to add Babylon 5 to my list to go back and watch as well.
